Owning it

So I stepped on the scale today. I gave my WOE a week before I did it, so I'll add two pounds as a starting weight (factoring what was probably a 2 pound loss in water weight) ... I should have done that a long time ago, but being completely honest, I knew what it was by the clothes I was wearing. So there we go. I'm facing it. Cause and effect. I know the cause, it's time to own the effect.

I've been in induction a week and I had other than sleeping a little more, no ill effects. I'll start exercising now (and I mean now, as soon as I finish this post) and just drive on. The scale is a tool, a literal way of measuring the effects of the choices I make. Time to make better choices.

you know, i always know my weight within 5 pounds, too. don't have to have a scale anymore....my pants tell me all...and kudos to you for seizing the moment for your exercise: no better time than NOW! you go, girl.
