| | If you enjoy running, then by all mean, go run! But don't hide in the dark! If you feel you must run at dusk, (well, it's usually cooler then, in the summer, so it's probably a good time), make sure you have on clothes that make you easily visible if you have to run on the street. Safety first! Let us know how it goes. |

| | Thanks Nita! It is so much cooler to run in the evening. The other added benefit is that I will be less likely to overeat at night knowing that I will want to get outside for some exercise! |

| | Hi Mab. A few years back was when I first decided that after years of non-activity it was time to start putting some exercise in my life. I wanted to go jogging too but was so unfit that I couldn't get very far without nearly killing myself! If you are in the same situation (just as unfit as I was) I suggest doing what I did and first start by walking for a set period of time that you would eventually like to jog (ie, 30 minutes). And when I say walk I mean power walking, somthing to get you a bit winded. After a while of walking, I stepped up my fitness level by walking for 5 minutes, jogging for 5 minutes and then walking for the remainder of the half hour. Once that 5 minutes of jogging got easy to get through, I added another 5 minutes of jogging and once that got easy I added some more. And so on and so on until I could jog the entire 30 minutes. When I first started there was no way I could imagine myself jogging for a full half an hour straight but by gradually building it up over time, I didn't even notice that it was much of a physically challenge! Good luck!! |

| | Thanks! That is great advice! I tend to go out and overdo it because it feels so good once you get started. I also read that interval training is really good for you. So I'll just consider it that! |
