I made it through my first day and a half back at school! Everybody always goes out to eat lunch because its the only time we get to eat together like grownups. My team teaching partner and i brought our lunches and ate together here. The grilled chicken and veggies, and leftover steak and veggies i had today were so good. I can never afford to go and always eat too much. Missed the social part but not the food!
She is thin and athletic but confessed that she has had eating problems all her life and a family full of anorexics. We are going to help each other out this year with our stress chocoholism.
Said no to the doughnuts, egg/potato/chile burritos (my personal favorite) and sweetrolls, and to a mass of chocolate candy without even a sigh, it just didnt sound good to me. Thank you Lord!!!!!
I am not losing any more weight, but I knew that I would hit a plateau sooner or later. I just keep thinking positive and not drowning my dissapointment and sense of failure in sugar and bread. I pray for guidance and joy then find something to celebrate-- like not having to manuever 10 minutes to figure out how to fasten my seatbelt! When I set up my classroom, I didn't have to leave as much room behind my desk, between cabinets, etc. as I used to. I am trying to walk with good posture and feel healthy and beautiful. Don't think it shows on the outside, but I sure feel better.
I am so excited by my two newest friends: Katlupe and Sandi both graciously offered to be my LoCarbeating friends. What wonderful, encourging women they are!!!!! Thanks gals, I am SO enjoying reading your posts and pms and getting to know you better. We all have to stick together to encourage each other!
