Yesterday was a very tough day! I really do know the reason for it. I am use to a eating schedule, but yesterday it really was blown out of the water due to our days events.
BUT.. I did it!
So this is what happened. I woke up in the morning and I had some egg plant casserole for breakfast (really good stuff btw), but only a couple of bites because I really was not hungry at all.
So then we decided to go out and about. It was such a beautiful day and hit 52 degrees. Which of course is a far cry from the -20 + nights we had been having for what seems to be most of Jan!
We hit a few stores, and by now we were getting hungry so we grabbed a beef stick from the gas station to share. We hoped this would hold us off until we returned home in a few hours.
Well we finally arrived home at 7PM and still had to cook dinner. We ended up having hamburgers with mozzarella cheese and tomato in a lettuce wrap. however we are use to eating around 4pm due to the fact that my husband works 3rd shift. So those 3 hours made a huge difference between hungry and ravenous!
I ate dinner, but because I had waited so long now I was craving EVERYTHING! I don't really know why it would be like that but I had noticed it was like that before. Honestly I was even debating with myself later that night at the gas station/subway as to cheat or not. I managed to talk myself out of it and bought 2 oz of cashews to share with DH. I did go home and end up eating 2 big stalks of celery with peanut butter on it and then another 6 oz burger. So I over ate, but I did NOT cheat!
So given the events and what could have been .. I am so proud of both hubby and myself!
OH.. and today me and hubby went to the park and walked for a half hour! Well.. ok.. walk and ice skated! LOL The path still had icy spots which was slippery than snot on a tin roof! LOL
As of right now we have been doing this WOL consistently now for 1 month and 4 days.. cheat free!
I'm gonna kick it in the rear this week.. I really would like to make my v-day goal of 260! So that means I have to take off 4lbs! I'm gonna be an exercising fool! LOL
