I know I haven't been around in a while.. and i have a tendency to do this..but LCE is never far from my heart or my mind!

I have continued on my weight reduction journey. I am currently down to 246 which I am extremely happy about!

I do find that it is a bit more difficult with the holiday season to stay completely LC. However... I am not getting on myself or tearing myself up over it. It's called life! I do however keep in mind that the next few days after eating high carbs will be difficult, and nine times out of ten it is.

I have been doing large amounts of Iodine and Tyrosine as well as some other supplements for about 4 months now for my hypothyroid. It usually takes a good 3 months for a person to notice a difference. I have noticed huge changes in my body. The womanly cycle thing has normalized, I don't get as cold, fatigue, edema, etc.. all either getting better or gone. I will be going to my doctor in Jan to see how my blood tests come out. I have been off thyroid meds now for over a year so it will be interesting to see the numbers.

Well guess that's all for now! Hope every one is having wonderful Holidays!

Hurray for being off the meds.
I am freezing all the time (this is a first, even skinny I was NEVER cold.) but I have hesitated to mention it to the doc. Years ago a doctor told me "Every fat woman on earth wants to imagine that she has a thyroid problem" with a sneer. I did fire her, and I'm a lot more assertive about my own health now, but I was SO mortified by that comment. I weighed about 160 then, 260 now (down from over 300) so I hate to think what that one would say now. lol
Keep up the lowcarbing and WOOT! HURRAY for your losses and your improved health.

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing. It sounds like you are handling the holidays well. Holidays seem to be the hardest for most people. Good luck!
