To be honest, I wasn't as bummed out about my tomatoes getting the Northeast blight as I normally would have been. I think maybe it is a good thing. The reason being one of my favorite things to eat in the summer is tomato sandwiches made with real soft white bread and mayonnaise. Not exactly a low carb meal! I made it through my first day and a half back at school! Everybody always goes out to eat lunch because its the only time we get to eat together like grownups. My team teaching partner and i brought our lunches and ate together here. The grilled chicken and veggies, and leftover steak and veggies i had today were so good.
