Posted 07-03-2008 at 09:33 AM by lindsaya
Hi everyone, my name is Lindsay; I am working with the Nutrition & Metabolism Society. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of the petition sponsored by a member of the society. The petition asks the NIH to acknowledge existing science and fund research by experts in carbohydrate restriction.

"Think like a vegetarian"

As I was eating lunch I thought about people in my life who are vegetarians. It is a life style choice. I don't think I have ever heard a vegetarian say "I fell off the wagon and had a steak"....

"Hey, there are nuts in here..." It's dawned on him, after I've made these a few times now...I smile.

"That means you've been holding out on me. You've been hiding nuts! There are nuts in the house that I didn't know about."

I laugh. "Well, yeah,...
