    Well, the hemp protein tasted pretty bad. I felt like a horse because it tasted like grass. I could handle the taste, but I think it made me hungry. I felt ravenous all day today, the first time since I started the lc plan. It was kind of scary to be so hungry, but I didn't go off of my plan. My eating was disordered because I was busy with my family and didn't get a chance to sit down once to have a nice meal. On the go eating makes me feel like I didn't even eat.   2. Its Friday....Finally!

    Wow o' wow it has been a long week. I am so glad its Friday I can just scream. No real drama going on....just a long dull week that seemed to go on for freakin ever. I have a yoga class tomorrow so I am really looking forward to that. I do plan on visiting my mother for a bit (which can be REALLY trying at times) but other than that I plan to exercise and stay on plan, do some housecleaning and work on my quilt.   3. Success on 14th day!

    I weighed myself this morning for the first time since I stared plan. I lost 6 lbs in 12 days. I'm on my 14th day but didn't weigh myself at the very beginning. I had a doctor's appt. today and her scale showed I lost 10 lbs. I am still going by my own scale, but I am really excited. This is working and I am actually enjoying my meals. I never thought I could lose weight while eating foods that taste good. I'm so happy I have embraced a low carb way of life and I am so happy to have found ...

  4. Office Party-Coming soon

    Our office party is usually late in October....we received invitations today that it is Sept 27th....mmmmm. Thats still more than a month away but it will be here before I know it! I hate shopping for formal/semi formal wear.....hate al the panic and anxiety that I feel at these events....hate all the office chatter about who is going to wear what.....who looked like a stuffed pig at last years party. UGH! The whole thing is annoying. So my game plan is this: I am not going to fool myself ...

  5. question...

    I like to drink protein shakes in the morning and have been using whey or egg white protein with only 1-2 carbs per serving. I came across raw hemp seed protein. It has 9 total carbs, but 8 grams of fiber. I am in induction still and want to know if anyone has any feedback about this. Should I be subtracting fiber from carbs if they are that high this early in the program? I am concerned it may slow down weight loss. I am on day 13.
