Things are quiet at work today ~ boss is out of town. I have a chance to blog as soon as I think of something to blog about

I had a thought about the mindset it takes to be successful on any way of eating. It is this:

"Think like a vegetarian"

As I was eating lunch I thought about people in my life who are vegetarians. It is a life style choice. I don't think I have ever heard a vegetarian say "I fell off the wagon and had a steak"....

This time around something is different and I think I might have figured it out. Cheese...or the lack there of. Remembering how I ate the last time I did LC, I remember lots of cheese. Not so this time. I am eating far more veggies than I have in the past. And not snacking has helped. The more I poundered this I realized that I am not focusing on one food type. I am eating very balanced. The new things I am enjoying this time around are:

"Hey, there are nuts in here..." It's dawned on him, after I've made these a few times now...I smile.

"That means you've been holding out on me. You've been hiding nuts! There are nuts in the house that I didn't know about."

I laugh. "Well, yeah,...

Tonight at 7:59, summer officially begins. I love summer!
I love working in my gardens.
I love all the fresh veggies!
I love the long days.
I love flip flops!
I love everything cooked on the grill!!

Life is good ~ very good indeed. Blessings abound everyday and I am humbled by the way my God loves me. I was told once that He will not lead me where He cannot keep me. I so believe that to be true. In the past six months there are been some changes in my life and all have brought something good into my life. Disappoints were part of the equation too. Let's see, I lost a job, got a new job, was rejected for show I really wanted to do, got...
