I am at a crossroads. I am looking into bariatric surgery, have an appointment for my first consultation and started doing a low carb also. A lot of the patients were doing low carb after the surgery, so I was thinking, what if I can get the results without surgery? looking at pictures of those who've done low carb and those who had surgery, the low carbers didn't look so....flabby? I may be fat, but I am kinda vain - i dont want to lose anymore than necessary!! I like my hair, I like my shape -

Today is my first day of induction for Atkins! I'm very excited to begin this low-carb journey and start a healthier way of living. I'm sick and tired of feeling gross and fat all the time! Things are quiet at work today ~ boss is out of town. I have a chance to blog as soon as I think of something to blog about I had a thought about the mindset it takes to be successful on any way of eating. It is this: "Think like a vegetarian" As I was eating lunch I thought about people in my life who are vegetarians. It is a life style choice. I don't think I have ever heard a vegetarian say "I fell off the wagon and had a steak".
