About 7 years ago, I did atkins and weighed 113 pounds. That was actuallt too thin for me but I stayed around 120 for about two years. I then changed jobs and started working for the Chamber of Commerce and I love my job but it has packed the pounds on me. Of course when I first started workign there I was still atkins WOE but was adding in bads foods which made me gain QUICKLY. After 5 years at my job, I have long given up atkinns and gained 40 pounds. I am disgusted with myself but every time I attempt to go back to induction, I can't stay with it more than about 2 weeks and that just causes more weight gain.
I am desperate to get back and stick with this - even though I have every temtation in my face all day, every day at work. And mt co-workers do NOT help me when I attempt atkins. It will all be up to me and me alone to get back on track.
I have heard that it is difficult for your body to lose the weight on atkins more than once in a lifetime. Is that true? It was very easy the first time, but in my recent attempts, it was VERY VERY hard to start, and stay with it.
I need help and motivation and partners and also some advice as to if I should go ahead and start back NOW or wait until after christmas to try again.
Hope to hear from new friends......
