After poking around a bit, I ended up editing my profile. I am happy to report that, even though I've slacked, I've kept off a decent amount of weight. So I've updated my current weight and even knocked off 5 lbs off of my original goal weight (extra motivation).

Here's to happy (healthy) eating low carbers!

So, I started out with a bang. I came across this blog, registered, browsed... lost 12 lbs and this morning I got on the scale for my weigh in and I've gained 1.5 lbs back. Now, I know it's certainly not the end of the world and there are many contributing factors, but I've stuck to my diet like a die hard (until now I've lost .5 - 1 lbs per day) and I've increased my physical exercise (which is one of those contributing factors - aka: muscle weighs more than fat).

And so, in my slightly disappointed state, I figured if I put this in writing it will somehow challenge me to move forward and stick to this!

This is also my first post, so I hope I'm doing this correct.

One last confession: I weigh myself every morning. I think it's time to cut back to once or twice a week...

I'd love any words of encouragement or stories of your own challenges to keep me motivated.
Best wishes to all!
