okay, when i first started low-carb around 8 years ago, i didn't know (much) about artificial sweeteners and baking with them and all that. i jsut ate low carb, and avoided the sugary stuff for the most part. occasionally, when out with friends (or on my own) - i would have something naughty (generally: ice cream

). in this way, i lost around 20-25 pounds over 4 months, and kept that off until i moved to australia and got pregnant

. now, i am thinking i will go back to that, and have one evening per week where i can cheat. this trying to work out what AS is safe and which isn't; which my body will or won't react to, and which has the best aftertaste etc is ridiculous (for me, i mean - not you !

). i'll continue having stevia drops in my tea, but for the rest, i will stop trying to low-carb all my favourite desserts, because i think i won't do well with that.
meantime, continuing my 30-grams-a-day-or-less......
