pancakes.....

every saturday morning i make a special breakfast for the fam - pancakes generally, and i eat eggs . today, i had my eggs, and also one pancake. i know that i will have meatballs and leftover egg salad for lunch, and crustless quiche for dinner, so that was my carb count for the day.

it was sooo nice to just know i was going to have one pancake (and enjoy it!!!!!!!!), as usually i smell them and suffer. i do love my egg salad though: mashed hb eggs, mayo, a little dill...

at a friends place

ahhhh, mothers group....a time to (apparently) eat a hell of a lot of crap! i feel so sugared out, that i actually appreciate it! (makes me happy to know i will not feel this way again any time soon!) I went along knowing this would be a cheat morning, so brought it on myself knowingly, not just stuffing my face in private. now, back on to plan!!!!

the rest of my husband's chocolate is safe!

ps - i think i've lost a kg...time will tell

only 2 squares!!!!

alright, ALRIGHT! so i had 2 squares of dark choc last night...my husband ate half the block

but no other cheats - AND i was really tired and asked my husb if he would go get us dinner...he sugg pizza, but i suggested roast chicken. i won! he's always happy to spend less money (chicken is cheaper), so i had chick and cottage cheese for dinner (lots of veggies at lunch!). was pretty wasted from the day i must say.

went to the gym this morning at 6am...

okay, when i first started low-carb around 8 years ago, i didn't know (much) about artificial sweeteners and baking with them and all that. i jsut ate low carb, and avoided the sugary stuff for the most part. occasionally, when out with friends (or on my own) - i would have something naughty (generally: ice cream ). in this way, i lost around 20-25 pounds over 4 months, and kept that off until i moved to australia and got pregnant . now, i am thinking i will go back to that,...

just had a ginormous salad, with fetta cheese (YUM), egg, and cottage cheese. not feeling so crave-y anymore!

i want to say - i weigh 90kgs at the moment, and wear a size 16 (sometimes 14, but not often . my husband's christmas party is december 21, and i'd love to look hot (hmmm, it will be hot too...it'll be summer here in sydney!! - so i'd love to wear something SLINKY - or at least PRETTY!)

that is my goal. let it be known never mind weeght or size, i jsut...
