| Today I worked out on the exercise bike, cleaned and went around with my father who just got a divorce from my mother and looked for an apartment. Real sad day for me. I came home and indulged in cookies. Bad me! They've been married for 30 years and always seemed in love so it has been hard to take. Especially when my mother found another man to replace my father which started all of this. I'm going to get back on track and need to resort to prayer and not cookies! My dad needs me so I have to take care of myself so I don't fall apart. Thanks for listening. SOB :( |

| ahh heather, i am SO sorry to hear that. what a difficult situation. i will be thinking positive thoughts for you and your family. keep up the exercise - it always help me to stay "sane." anyway, did 50 mins cardio last nite and abs. have a great weekend!!

| tonight--2 hours of bowling--all day today I worked on assembling and moving PE equipment--I figure I can count another 3 horus of exercise! I emptied out a storage room almost completely, threw out a ton of garbage and put the rest of the stuff back in. . .and cleaned out another room and organized it--assembled two sets of shelves and 2 hockey goals!

| I hope you're feeling better Heather! Keep going with the exercise, it will help a lot! Yesterday was weights and abs, today abs and 2 1/2 hours walking. Have a great weekend everybody!

| Swimming 30 minutes--only managed 900 yards today--was clear up to 1200 in 30 minutes and today 900 kicked my butt--not out of shape perse but boy does running work your body differently!

| Friday and today swam my mile and 20 min extra aerobics in water today. Sat and sunday, I was visiting friends that live on a river, sat in a float both days, but did get some swimming done both days... the river was running pretty fast, so I swam in one place, that was interesting... kind of like my own lap pool.... anyway, had a great weekend.

| well, i'm sort of a bad dog. :( worked out fri nite - 50 mins cardio, some ab work. but i didn't get to the gym on sat OR sun!! oh no, bad i know. but i was busy packing and moving. so maybe i'll give myself a "get out of jail free" card ... just this time. hahaha. anyway, i joined an AMAZING new health club out in the burbs! it's like a small city! w/ an indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hair salon ... oh, and all the workout machines i could ever dream of! i am very excited to go tonite!

| I'm sneaking in here. Going to keep my dual citizenship with the faux-tatoe group - but I've gone back to Ballys for a workout. WOW!! I tried last year, but had no stamina and the asthma was killing me. I had a guy PT, and he had me using machines with really heavy weights and free weights. Checked, and I still have 1-1/2 year membership paid, and 6 PT sessions leftover. So, I started again, this time with a gal PT. And I LOVE IT! Did 8min on the eliptical (which truly beats my top time of 5 minutes from last year) - did a lot of leg work (we do upper body Wednesday) - and quite a bit of the ball work. My abs are killing me. Just what I wanted. Still going to Curves on t-th, but it is more cardio for me there now - I wasn't feeling any of the muscle burn after 7 months. Boy, do I feel it today!!! And I do the Ballys water aerobics T-TH evening - love that. and going for workouts M-W-F first thing in the morning. Came back home all sweaty and a wee-bit shaky this morning, but loved it. I never, ever thought I would feel this way about exercise!! what a rush!!

| MK, so proud of you girl! keep us posted on your daily workouts - you can brag in here and we'll all be happy for you!! i have heard that many women plateau at curves after some time. sounds like you will still be able to incorporate their program, but it's SO GOOD that you're adding MORE!

| Happy Monday everybody, Carrie is the HC a Lifetime Fitness by any chance? I was very impressed with that place, definitely big enough to qualify as a small town! MK you go woman! Nice to hear you are really crankin it up! Good job! And Carrie is right, bragging is not only allowed, but encouraged. Yesterday played tennis and did weights and abs this am before work.

| NO formal workout today--got home after 7:00pm and I still have school work to do. . .GRRRRR! I did spend all day moving things and arranging hte gym and hauling trash and getting things ready for the kids! They start tomorrow--I nkow I will get plenty of exercise tomorrow plus swimming after school!

| hey gang, looks like everyone is getting an A+++ for their workouts! i went to the new health club last nite! yes gregg, it's Life Time Fitness out in warrenville! i am already obsessed w/ it! i did 30 mins on the elliptical (hard), 20 mins bike (hard), 10 mins on some machine i had never seen before! and then super sets - bis, tris, shoulders. abs, too. i was w/ BF ... so we went swimming after our workout, then to the jacuzzi. it felt like we were on vacation! tonite i'm going to try one of the yoga or pilates classes, i think.

| Tuesday is my day off--I can tell I have been working out--teaching all day did not knock me out like it did last year in the beginning! I taught 4 classes of 5 today since Kindergarten doesn't start til tomorrow for orientation! Back to running tomorrow afternoon after school though!
