| Ann - looks like you and i have a lot of work cut out to reach our goals. i'm starting induction today - want to join me? ladygirl - your motivating factors are a great reminder of why we're doing this, and its not just vanity. to have the energy to keep up to my daughter,who is only a month old, is one of my biggest inspirations. also, like you, i want to be healthy so that i can live a long life with my DH and play with my grandchildren one day. I'm including the correction for Niki here, too, since my math's not so good! LOL! | I don't know how I missed this challenge before, but sign me up as well! I need all the help I can get! This past weekend was tailgating for the Buckeyes, and my youngest sons 2nd birthday - ugh! My stats are 227/227/221 - that's 6 lbs - the weight loss has been slow lately, so going conservatively. Thanks Maxibee! |

| Hey, biddy! Glad to have you! Our goals are the same, so this should be a fun challenge for us together! I'm keeping a notebook, as well as referring back to our posts for stats. I'm gonna try to keep everything straight! I always seem to be up a couple of pounds on Mondays...even if I don't cheat. I think it's from lack of activity and water on the weekends. I can usually get those pounds off during the week, though. Just think, when we get to this challenge goal, the next stop is the 'teens. How exciting is that! | Tuesdays are my weigh-in day. Today the scale says 209.5, and marks 35 cheat-free days for me (no sugar and no low carb products). So for this challenge, I've lost 1.5 pounds thus far. How's everyone else doing?

| I had a dream a digital scale....Pretty pathetic. My son was playing with it and I was getting upset that I could not weigh myself. I guess that means that I am obsesed!Sometimes I wish I had a digital scale....I just think that sometimes the dial scale want to show me a half pound loss but it is beyond its ability. I have no loss to report, of course I only tend to lose once a month so I guess that I just have to be patient. I did begin walking again this week. Hopefully, I will see a loss from that and not just from TOM. That would be really nice! Amy G |

| Ok so yesterday I said I had no loss to report but that I knew something was going to happen soon....Well 1 pound gone today. I feel good. I started walking as often as schedule allows after school. I think that is what is spuring the loss. On my way to a new decade! I just wonder at what point I will not be shy about my new weight. I mean I tell all of you but still cannot tell anyone all of my progress in terms of numbers. I guess I will in time. Amy G |

| Thanks for the warm welcome. I know we only have that little time left!!! That means I gotta stop (gasp) cheatin! With the recent hurricanes Ive been doing some bad things and its a little difficult to get back on. But I lost the weight I gained from that month that I lost (thank god) I was 145 before Charley hit usand then Frances paid us a little visit. I was back to 149.5 when I decided to come back to this site, its been a while since Ive been here. This morning I weighed 145 again, yay! So I guess we'll be posting our progress saturday night or sunday morning? This and the thanksgiving one are my first challenges, so not quite sure what to do. Thanks, Ashley |

| hi everyone! so, anyone psyched about survivor starting tonight? and will & grace? between my DH and i, we have so many shows we watch that, because he works nights, we have to tape everything, so we usually have 2 vcr's going. my eating is going well. my latest strategy has been to use a smaller plate so that my portion sizes have been smaller. its working pretty well so far. i havent been counting carbs, but i have been very cautious about how many carbs i'm eating. going to force myself to get out for walk today, before it starts raining.
