Well, we're half way there, and it looks like I'm half way there too. Might have some trouble on Monday, since its Thanksgiving and I said I would bring perogies.... that's where I'm going to have to do my best and show some self control.

Day 26 of 50
Start: 219 Current: 210 Goal: 199 Total Loss: 9/20

Question to you all... have any of you started thinking about Halloween? Any strategies on how to deal with the candy? I know that last year, I just sat at the door, eating it until kids would come. Certainly don't want to do that again. Suggestions?

Have a good weekend everyone!

Niki,

Buy a package of little toys--they usually are in the candy aisle with the candy, but you can't eat them! I am giving spider rings and dinosaurs and bugs this year instead of candy, I may even get a bag of the small cars--dollar stores are wonderful!

I'm stuck this week at 369 so no change. But no worries. I will get through it and make my goal by Halloween. Hopefully I'll make it before Halloween.

Hey, everyone! I'm going to post stats pretty soon, so if you have a weigh-in, please post it within the next couple of hours....I wouldn't want to miss Desperate Housewives at 8:00!

Okay, everyone, here are this weeks stats. Next to the ones I've not gotten an update from, I'll put N/U. If this is you, please check in and let us know how you're doing. Hi Maxibee, quick correction! My challenge goal is 157. 152 is my ultimate goal. So, I only have 3 to go. 3 down, 3 to go. At the rate it's coming off, I may just barely make it! Thanks!

I'm checking in here. Still at 183. Holding for weeks now.
Did up my weight workout, so maybe it's muscle ( I hope), but haven't buckled down on the eating front.

Hi all! I just spent the last 5 days at home for my sister's wedding, and survived to tell about it . I really had to watch too. My family is notorious for snacking, but I just limited myself to the low carb items. As of today, I am at 155, with 5 pounds to go until Halloween.
Wish me luck though, I have Bunco tonight, a skincare class on Thursday and a wine tasting benefit on Friday!

Boo hoo! I had a couple of bad days O.D.'ing on Atkins bars (2 bars in a row, 2 days in a row. :crying: Good news is, I didn't eat any sugar, so it's a victory of sorts), then I got sick and haven't been able to exercise for 3 days!
I'm still in the challenge, but maybe out of the race . . .
Hope I can check back with good news over the weekend... :eyes:

I've lost 1.5 lbs this week - so we're looking at 223.0! Slowly getting there - hopefully I'll meet this challenge. I have a big family weekend planned, so I just need to keep my wits about me! Great job to everyone!

:bellydanc This is me doing the happy dance because I have reached my GOAL for this Halloween Challenge!!!

WOO-HOO! What a pick me up it was stepping onto the scale this morning and seeing those numbers. Down 4 pounds from last Saturday.

If you recall last week I had no loss. I fully believe it was the lack of enough water toward the end of the week. Well this week I stepped it up drinking my water and continuing my nightly aerobics and there you have it. GOAL!

I'm now going to try for another three pounds before Halloween. Yea, to Maxibee for this challenge it has given me a real boost.

Hey, Noel, good for you! I've lost 5 pounds on Induction so far and I'm pretty pleased with that. I'm only 2 pounds from my Halloween goal, and 5 pounds from my Thanksgiving goal. (BTW- I just added the Halloween Challenge to my signature line and it's my own challenge! Duh! LOL!)

I guess I didn't realize how many carbs I was really taking in....it doesn't take much to equal 20 carbs! Hey, Biddy....I FINALLY caught up with you, and I'm out of breath!

Congrats to you for making this this challenge goal! You've got 2 weeks left....you could change your goal......well, maybe not, you can now focus on the Thanksgiving challenge. You've done so well on this one, you will make the Turkey Day one for sure!

How's everyone else doing? I will be posting stats tomorrow, so chime in!
