Exclamation GET OFF THE SCALE Challenge.

Unfortunately guys, ourselves and our scales can be our own worst enemy. After so many years of fighting the scale, desperately wanting to be "thin" and obtaining that "magic" number of the "perfect" weight... sometimes we forget why we are doing this!

We're doing this to finally be happy, and to be in control of OURSELVES. To be successful, we cannot let anyone or anything control us anymore. Food and scale numbers included! We need to eat healthy because we want it for ourselves, not because it'll change the numbers on the scale.

With this in mind i'm proposing a new Thanksgiving challenge. I challenge you all to stay off the scale until Thanksgiving! I know it might sound like a lot to some of you, but I think it's the best thing for us. If it's too much time to go without weighing yourself, you can join as it gets closer to thanksgiving. I don't recommend this to people that are just starting out, or anyone else that needs to closely track their carb intake/weight.

It'll be hard for me too.. we can do it! What do you think?

Default Re: GET OFF THE SCALE Challenge.

Sunny, I'm just 6 weeks into this WOE so I can't really stay off the scale quite yet. I have slowed in losing and am now trying to determine how my daily eating is affecting my weight. But I am challenging myself to stay off the scale except for once a week. Down the line I may be able to stay off for longer periods of time.

More "will" power to you.
