| I started my aerobics tape and was doing the toning with my hand weights but then the baby woke up early rom his nap and I went back and laid down. I did manage to get in 23 minutes. I just missed the last two parts. I was going to go back and do it but I figured that was enough for today.

| I'm happy to report that thanks to reading all the posts here I have devoloped the good habbit of walking most days for about 30 minutes. I don't post often but I do read often and you all have inspired me to get out there and do something. I'm looking forward to next months Fauxtato challenge. |

| Noel - I was considering using weights during the WATP workout. At least during part of the hour. But I am so massively uncoordinated I'd probably give myself a concussion. ;-( It's only a matter of getting started with a 3x a week weight training workout until it becomes a habit. ONLY! Ed - Great work! Glad we could inspire you. Just as I was getting acclimated to colder weather, it turned warmer yesterday (high around 80). I was actually almost hot. Walked 7 miles just because there was sun for the first time all week. Mileage for the month is 104. Down from last months 116. I'm going to try to not walk today. We'll see how I do. LOL

| Ed, welcome. Yes this board has become a great source of inspiration for me as well. I started in with the 8lb dumbbells last night. I'll do them on the evenings I do aerobics. Not right after since I use the light weights for toning but about an hour later. I think that'll be ok. That'll be 3X a week, like Rob was talking about. Got my 2 mile-WATP in early today. I didn't want to be able to talk myself out of it later. I know the exercise is the reason I've kept up the steady losses. And if I stall I know it's the only way to get through it.

| Welcome, Ed! I'll be getting the November challenge ready for tomorrow, so feel free to join in. Rob, I can relate to the co-ordination problem. I think that's why I feel "safe" at curves. No loose weights around for me to injure myself or another with. ![]() Noel, you've been really dedicated to your challenge! You are an inspiration! Now, today I've been in more or less tater mode. Other than several flights of stairs which came with the laundry mission, the only other activity of note was banging my head against a wall over and over again. This was due to the unbelievably bad performance by my beloved Vikings and the dismal result of my experimental manicotti recipe which would only be fit to eat if someone were completely without any other option. Blehh! Ah, well. Tomorrow I'll be back to work and back to curves.
