:square:

I did the WATP DVD tonight again. I really should have alternated. My legs are really sore. Tomorrow I'll do aerobics I think.

Me THREE!!!! I HATE shopping and I hate wearing shoes!!!!! Those kung-fu slippers sound divine!!!!!

UM..........I intended to go to Curves today right after work, had my workout clothes packed and everything. But I had Bunco tonight and started thinking about all I had to do (figure out a costume, make dinner, clean it up, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da, so I decided I'll go tomorrow morning bright and early again on Fri and Sat. (I'm off those 3 days) so that will fit better into my schedule.

Rob, be gentle with me. I know I promised, but, but, but.............I was overwhelmed!!! :crying:

Oh, Maggie, I meant to ask. Do you have the link to those slippers on ebay?

Sorry, Teel.

Well I guess there are a couple of us with a secret dislike of shopping.

Barb, I hope you can get back into your curves groove. I'm sure you will.

Noel, I got my kung fu slippers (which they call "Chinese flat maryjane shoes" in womens or ladies) here:

http://stores.ebay.com/www-ChinaDirectStore-com

They take paypal and ship promptly and, for me, I love these for exercise or around the house. The soles are good enough that they'd work for outdoors, too in nice weather.

Maggie - I don't like shopping either but my rule of in and out within half an hour helps make it less dreaded. Mostly I find what I want within 10 minutes.

Barb - Okay, You are absolved.

I should have been Japanese. I keep a pair of slippers by the front door and within 3 seconds my sneakers are off and those slippers are on.

I walked 4 miles yesterday in the foggy cruddy rainy weather we are having. It's expected to last through tomorrow. Another morning waking up t 3 a.m. :(

made a decision not to try to get to ballys this week. I did Monday, and I am aching (leg workout), and I don't want to hurt on the trip, so am just going to wait until I get back and then start strong.
I do need to get to the dr to check my lower back. Been somewhat hurting there for several years, but it seems to be getting a lot worse. Morning wakeups are quite painful for awhile. guess I'll schedule that for the week after the trip too. Time to find out what the problem is, and if they can do anything for it.

so, meanwhile, this week will just be some house stuff (moving & packing), getting ready for the trip (packing), and lots of work.

I was so sore from two days of WATP. Boy that had more of an impact on me than I thought it would. I did start my aerobics tape but was not moving as well as usual. I was actually thankful when baby decided to climb up my leg in the middle. I decided to take a break tonight and rest up and try again tomorrow. I did get in 17 minutes. I was really trying to finish, I kept telling myself, "tomorrow is your day off from exercising" but my body didn't want to hear it. If I wasn't so sore I'd finish tonight. Oh well, can't be right on all the time.

Noel, something is better than nothing. Ya done good!!!

I FINALLY got my hiney over to Curves. I really worked the machines hard. It felt good to get back at it.

Has anyone watched "The Biggest Loser?" I think it's going to be a good show. It's on Tues. nights on ABC, 7 Central (probably 8 Eastern). It's an interesting show. There are 2 teams (red, blue). The blue team's coach and trainer is having them cut the carbs and they won the weight loss challenge for the first 5 days, even with a 5lb penalty. (they lost a challenge) I think I'm hooked. I think there's a thread about it in the "Everything Else" forum, so I'll be posting over there.

Mary Kay - Sorry you're hurting.

Noel - You did fine. Your body was just telling you that the time for rest was NOW!!

Barb - I havent seen that show. Might be worth a tune-in. Though I haven't watched tv on tuesday in a long time. (I do tape Judging Amy though).

Weather here has been pretty unpleasant lately. Rainy or foogy or mist. So had to force myself to do 4 miles at the lake yesterday. Also have been trying to do at least one household chore per day. That way when it's all done it will be time to start all over.

LOL, @ "one chore per day. That way when it's all done it will be time to start all over." Ain't it the truth!!!!! Ugh!!! I'm constantly spinning my wheels just in the kitchen. I am a MESSY cook, so I make TONS of dirty dishes. grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think "The Biggest Loser" is just right up our alleys, don't ya think?

MK, when are you going on your trip??? can't remember and don't have time to go back and read the other posts. Hope you have a blast!!!!!

Noel, yep, I'm with Rob, time to give your bod a bit of a break. 2 days should be good. You don't want to undo what you've done, or worse yet, injure yourself.

I think you are right, guys. I'm taking tonight off. My upper thigh was aching yesterday and the day before. You'd think I'd listen to the pain. I'm going to rest and watch some TV with my feet up. Then tomorrow I'll try again. I will do the aerobics tapes Friday to ease back in then try the WATP DVD this weekend. I know I can do it at a slower pace if I have to.

Barb - Yes it seems I spend all my cleaning time in the kitchen too. I need to learn how to cook in bulk without eating in bulk. LOL

Noel - Good idea!

Another unpleasant day weather-wise. I decided to make it more interesting and went to a park i very rarely go to. But I forgot they don;t allow dogs. So poor Sophie had to sit in the car while I did 2 rough miles (very hilly course). Then went to another park for an additional 2 mile walk that sophie could enjoy.

That's why I don't make a bunch of bacon all at one time to have some for bacon bits, breakfasts, sandwiches, etc. I could (would) the eat the whole package!

Legs felt better today. I did 30 minutes aerobics.

Oh me too Noel!!!!! I could eat an entire pckg of cooked bacon and so could DH!!!! We put a pretty good dent in a pckg when I do make it, so I don't make it very often.

YAY!!!! I went to Curves again today and hope to motivate myself tomorrow morning and go in again. That will catch me up at least this week. Last week was a total loss. I need to get to bed at a decent hour tonight so I can get up at a decent hour tomorrow morning. Last night I was up 'til 2:30 mostly reading posts on the LOST forum board. tsk, tsk, tsk.
