| would like to join new year challenge. Have gained 13 pounds back since sept. so my goal is to lose 18 pounds which will put me weighing 180 if i can stick to it. emma starting weight dec.2003 -222 pounds current weight nov.2004-198 pounds my goal by jan.1 2005-180 pounds |

| okay.. count me in.. ill have to weigh in tommrow to see what im at havent weighed in over a month.. since we have just under 2 months till new year.. im going to aim for 10 lbs.. ill post tommrow what my weight is .. and then i proly wont weight till just befor thanksgiving.. and then wont agin till week befor christmas.. ihate weighing my self.. only leads to stress.. goodluck all!

| The scale has been kinda erratic recently I have been weighing anywhere between 187 and 195 routinely for the last week or so (seems like forever) Not sure what is going on. Carb creep would be a good answer but I dont think so. It might be there is not enough green stuff entering my body....I think I am going to reinduct for a while to see if I can straighten things out. Amy G |

| Weighed in this morning and found that I had a 4 pound loss from last Monday!! Now that my boys are finished with football for this year, I need to try and get some walking in after work at least 3 times a week!

| im definately up for this challenge - im 125 now and i want to be 115 for New Years! let's do this --- my goals are as follows: - low carb it through the holidays and beyond (small treats on thanksgiving & christmas) - drink at least 64 oz. water per day - workout 5 times per week for at least 50 min each time |

| Thanks for adding that up Cynnie, I KNEW I'd forget something. :o Gilley, if you give me your stats I'll edit the post. I know you want to lose 10 pounds but need a starting number. So welcome, gilley, emma and ooosammiamooo! LovinLowCarb, of course you take that pound. Any loss counts! And remember it's not a race ust a challenge to ourselves to be accountable through this difficult time. The average person gains 7 pounds from Thanksgiving to New Years! So if we can squash that we are doing better than most!

| Well, that's seven pounds since I started the low carb eating Oct. 1. Truth is, it's only 1 pound down since I signed up for the challenge. Still just 6 pounds to go, but not quite "halfway". ;-)
