This weekend has gone well! I made Christmas candy all day today and I didn't even have one bite! How is that for willpower. I really have no desire to touch it. I have been losing and it isn't really worth it.

Finishing up the weekend with 2,082 calories and 45 carbs. Not that bad - I'll take it!

haven't really been counting this weekend. I'm sure I was way over on carbs but not calories. Will start again with fitday tomorrow.

Unhappy Re: CCC for December

I just posted the following sad tale to the couch fauxtato challenge.

What a bad day I had yesterday. Not only didn't go for a walk but drank a full bottle of red wine, ate about 2 cups of sausage cream cheese dip with a half bag of cheese doodles and 1/3 bag of tortilla chips. Then the bean dip came out. Need I say more? yes there were meatballs made with maple syrup! I think I probably had over 200 carb grams yesterday. I just did a realistic and honest estimate of what I ate and plugged it into fitday. It came to over 4000 calories (including Breakfast and lunch) and 211 net carbs. I will have to be exceedingly good the rest of the week to make up.

I NEED to be very very good this week. I'm going to try and keep calories to 1500 and carbs to 30 or less.

Rob, I'm right there with you. I probably had over 100 carbs with the darn banana bread. And the lower calories, well that didn't seem to matter as much as the carbs did.

Today I have begun yet another attempt at "cleansing" my system. I think I (like you) may need a whole week under 30 carbs and not just a few days. I've also got to get the banana bread out of the house!

One induction day down six more to go. I didn't have time for breakfast this morning so I am a little low on calories. I will eat it tomorrow though.

1,040 calories and 20 carbs.

Good job Noel!

I also did well. I hit 1500 calories and 30 net carbs exactly as I planned. Will try to do the same today.

Another good induction day. Today I had terrible cravings. Was ready to hit the potato chips...but stayed far far away.

Good going Rob on sticking to your goal. We can get over the bad days!

1606 calories and 18 carbs.

I ate out tonight and had a huge salad. Not so bad the whole day, in fact had I not had the dressing I would have ended up with only 11 carbs. But I am adding 16 carbs for resturant dressing (the dressing I chose in fitday was only 2 but seemed most comparable in what I estimate the calories to be and ingredients). I was going to bring my own dressing from work but forgot it as I left. (gosh darn!)

So by best guess I had 1564 calories and 27 carbs.

I know everyone here is doing extremely well... and I'm so glad! I have a bit of news from another set of boards.... in the OWL section of the boards... there is a running total of how much we have lost as a group on LCE.com, so if you could take a moment and add in your weight loss to date(and then add more as you continue to lose), it would be great! Thanks everyone!

PS- The post is in OWL under "LCE's total weight loss".

I was absolutely awful yesterday. The low carb store near me is going out of business and everything is 50% off. I ate a 960 calorie fudge bar which brought my numbers...well you need to use scientific notation to fit the number on here. But The sweetener was maltitol and you know what that can do. This morning I was one pound under my signature weight which means I lost the last pound of my holiday weight plus one more!

The GNC store near me has every LC item on sale as well. Thankfully no 960 calorie brownies though.

I was going to do really well today but the lady that was bringing lunch was two hours late and I was so hungry that I had a pear. Which was good but put me high on carbs for my re-induction. But not too high otherwise.

Today my cravings were gone but I will do a few more days just in case.

1370 calories and 36 carbs
