Thank you, Glory. Glad you are recovering from Thanksgiving alright. I am as well. Today I am upping things a bit, hopefully the cravings are gone for good.

I've recently started making FitDay.com entries and I look foward to checking in with my carb and calorie counting.

I hope to keep my calorie intake between 1,300 and 1,800 calories throughout December, which should allow me to lose about a pound a week.

I'm still trying to get a hold on my carb levels. I've stayed just under 25 for the past three days and this morning registered "small" on the ketosis sticks. In a week or so, I plan to up the carbs to 30 and see if I still register on the sticks and the scale.

Back to normal after a few lower days to get back in ketosis and get rid of the cravings. Probably could have done wiht a few les carbs but not over the top so that is good. It was that part of a crossiant that I ate when the baby didn't (not a good excuse).

1324 calories and 43 carbs.

1,613 calories and 14 net carb. I ate lunch and dinner out today--so it was Chicken Caesar Salad at Olive Garden for lunch and BLT roasted chicken salad at KFC. All that romaine lettuce gave me a super low-carb count while getting in my veggies for the day but the dressings were a killer as far as calories go. Still within my limits so I'm happy.

Thanks Glory for starting this. We all seem to be off to a good start!

Except for me... :( Had 2660 calories and 54 net carbs yesterday. I'm going to try and keep my calories below 2000 and carbs in the 45 range this month. At least on average. I'm still struggling with that every third or fourth day urge to overeat. According to fitday I AM burning the calories I eat by over 700 calories for the past week. So why am I stuck 2.5 pounds above signature weight? I'm guessing it's the fact I ate real sugar on T-day for the first time in 22 months.

Don't sweat it Rob. You are a veteran at this lifestyle and you know what you need to do. Maybe a day or two of induction will get your body back on track. It'll come off. You are already proof to that.

and look at you...you've dropped 100 pounds and are less than 25 from goal...I think it's OK for you to have a little treat two or three times a year without feeling guilty about it. Just plan for it and then get right back on the low-carb wagon.

Still on board. Calories have been good - carbs have not. I find that the lower I go in calories the more carbs I consume. Sticking to it - I need to get through this month without packing on the pounds. I am looking at it as a jumpstart to my New Years Resolution!!!!

Hey everyone

Checking back in for December, so the holiday eating doesn't get out of control. Also, I'm trying to keep a careful record on what I'm eating, so I can see what seems to be causing allergy problems for me.

Pretty good today - four cups of green tea, 1,786 calories, 106 g. of fat (mostly from blue cheese dressing), 24 carbs and 104 grams of protein. I think I'm overestimating the amounts of the portions that I'm entering into FitDay, but I want to try to get a more accurate picture than I've had this past month.

I'm having the same problem as you, Glory. Calories right on, carbs too many. Like yesterday, I was actually a little low on calories but a little high on carbs (though still not too bad). But today I was right where I want to be with calories and got too many carbs. It's a combination of baby carrots (which I usually have) and a veggie chicken soup I've been eating with this cold. The veggie chicken soup has too many of the wrong kind of veggies in it. So I will have to be putting that in the blender for the baby. (he doesn't care for chuncks anymore)

1762 calories and 50 carbs.

Quick post - I have had a major computer meltdown. I will not be posting much in the next week or so. The only access I have right now is at work. I will let you know when we are up and running again. Until then, stay the course!!!!

Hi everyone,

Can someone help me with this thread? Is it a place to track calories and carbs intake?

Thanks!

1,719 calories today and 33 carbs. Not that bad - I'll have to keep focused for the weekend.

Tina, your "not that bad" would have been right on for me. And I came really close to it. When I lose much more weight I'll have to re-evaluate the number of calories I am getting while upping the carbs just a little.

1776 calories and 37 carbs. Another day that was right on. Gotta keep these up through the weekend.
