Tea drinking leads to great gift thoughts. little tea baskets, etc. We can turn all our friends onto it.

meanwhile, here I sit drinking my big cup of green tea/bengal spice. Heading for another one. Just a morning ritual. Then I have the cold green tea with ginsing during the day. I don't know if it helps, but it is good.
Well, I'm feeling good - but so many good changes this year so far that I'm not attributing any one thing.

I added a bag of peppermint to mine again this morning--will get two uses out of this bag...it is strong on the first cup but PERFECT on the second! I also found Salacada Strawberry Orange green tea that is a wonderful treat! Very nice as an after dinner drink!

Oh i have some awesome info to share. I always keep a box or 2 of green tea at work, i was off 2 days and came back and a box was gone. So i asked who was drinking up my tea and to my surprise 4 of ladies have gotten into drinking the tea in the last couple of weeks. One of them gave me a hug and thanked me for turning her on to the tea. She said it is giving her amazing energy. And also said she watches what i drink and eat and it kinda inspires her on some of the better choices she should be making. Its really great when u can help someone else improve the quality of their health. Just helps to reemphasize that im doing the right thing here. Its not just for me, now its also for others who are reaching out as well.

Isn't it an awesome feeling when you find you can help someone else do something good for them. I have "lost" two DANDR books that way..."Loaned" them out and never asked for htem back is more like it! It is fun to be an example to others even when we don't mean to!

Barb, how wonderful your husband will give you a massage. Is he any good at it? Mine is always willing . . . just not very good at it!

Sorry about your ear. That's a bummer. Hope you will be back to "top form" soon.

I have been struggling lately. Getting in my tea and water, and got rid of all the left-over LC cookies and candies. I lost my Xmas weight but can't seem to get past that. Even though I know I should only be losing .5 to 1 pound a week, I want it faster! Diet Power sorta gave up on me. Was giving me a daily calorie count way below what is healthy (and giving me that warning, too.) So I started a new diet in Diet Power and changed my goal date to a later date. This is not a race, right?

I am also planning ahead and bought "Atkins for Life." Haven't really gotten into it yet.

Keep drinking, everyone!

JAN!!!!!! Glad to see you here!!!!! It's NEVER too late to join the GREEN TEA CROWD!!!! Welcome aboard!!!!!

MK, that is so true...........I made a tea tin for my DD for Christmas, and she LOVES it!!!! (NOw I have to make one for my other DD!!!!)

Lori, that tea sounds divine!!!!

Jess, you sneaky devil..

Celest, that is AWESOME!!!!..............leading by example, that's the BEST way!!!!

Alida, yes, he's a peach and really digs in and gets the knots out!!! My ear is a little better, but still a bit twingy. I don't know why it's doing this, I NEVER get earaches, haven't had a cold all winter..........knock on wood, and don't have allergies. It mystifies me. I need to dig out my Atkins for Life book too and sit down and read it.

Got 4 cups in today, but did TERRIBLE on my water. We were out and about today and I still had to make several visits to the restrooms while we were out. I'm sluggin the water now as I sit here.

Alaina, I have been finding that 4 cups is what I need to see any changes. And YES you can add splenda...........or if you have found any of the sugar/free syrups for coffees, you can add a splash of that too. I do that PLUS I add half and half (not to fruit flavored syrups tho, ewwww, it curdles the cream) I also add a bag of Chai to my Green. LOVE the flavor!!!!! Don't be afraid to experiment with flavorings. Find what appeals to you and then stick with it.

And don't forget to drink your water too!!!!!!

Welcome aboard!!!!!

I am soooo excited! It's not just because my 2 pound loss stuck....or that the wedding I went to catered BBQ and that meant lots of meats to choose from....it's because I found a great new-to-me tea at Kroger! (I added some s/f Vanilla Da Vinci's to my green tea this morning and it wasn't too thrilling.)

I stopped in to get groceries, since I was already dressed and the store was on the way home from the wedding. I needed green tea, so I got that and perused the aisle for something different than what I have at home: regular black pekoe tea, apple/cinnamon herbal, and green. (I'm jealous of all of you that have all these great flavors!) I am a HUGE Earl Grey fan, so I was very excited to see that Bigelow makes: Earl Grey GREEN!!

I don't know if it is new, but the side of the box says: "For over a century, Earl Grey has remained one of the world's most distinctive and popular specialty teas. Lightly scented with Bergamot, its's delicate araoma and flavor have delighted millions and millions of tea drinkers worldwide for well over an hundred years. Now, by popular demand, we are pleased to introduce Earl Grey Green Tea-a tea that will bring you all the benefits green tea has to offer plus the wonderful "Earl Grey" flavor. We're very proud of this wonderful new additon to our tea line . We hope you're going to enjoy it."

You bet I am! Sign me up! I've been drinking Celestial Seasonings Earl Grey at work since we ran out of Green Tea. We use a Keurig machine and K-cups. Marvelous!

I'm gonna have a double cup to finish up my day's requirements.....I'll let ya'll know how it is.
