Barb -

I don't think so. The honey is part of the tea bag, it's not real honey that I'm putting in the tea.

Didn't have any tea this weekend but did have 1 cup yesterday. Today, I'm going to get back to four!

here's what i'm finding:
as i drink more tea, i'm no longer drinking coffee, and i've learned to drink my tea without milk & i even like it plain.

i never would have "thunk" it but it's true!

working on my 3rd cup already & it's only 9:15!

Don't worry everyone... I didn't overdose on green tea, I was in Tennessee all weekend with Andrew (it was awesome!), but needless to say I wasn't really interested in wasting any of my time on the internet!

Happy to report that I did get some green tea in while I was there, and although definately not as much as usual, I'm down to 196 today(and the TOM is still here so I"m still a bit bloated). SO atleast it's a downward trend... YAY! Now only like 31 lbs to go!

I haven't posted in a while as well, but still drinking my green tea. Bossman just bought more and put it in the cupboard. It's good to keep the employees (OK just me) happy.

Still struggling to get in my water and green tea but will keep trying. Can't wait until I get to where I can drink less than a gallon of water a day. I know it's not an absolute science this 1/2 oz to 1 lb ratio but I'm trying to stick to it.

Noel.... honestly... even though my weight keeps dropping, and I COULD drink less than 100 oz a day, I choose to stick to the higher number.... it really seems to help, not to mention that I need more because of my workouts. Water is never a bad thing.... so just keeping drinking it til you are blue in the face

So the decaf isn't supposed to be as beneficial as the caffeinated?? Oh no! I am loving the decaf green with tangerine! I am drinking it now! I did not love the plain green with full caffeine. Tasted too grassy to me.

I think the jury may still be out as to whether the decaf or reg work. I may have to do an experiment with it and see if it makes a difference.

I got MOST of my water in today and feel like I'm going to float away!!!!

I've been double bagging my daytime tea (two bags in a BIG cup) so we'll see if that makes any difference.

WELCOME BACK Megan, hope you had a good time!!!!

Missed my green tea...tried the first cup--TOM must mess with my tastebuds too...though I am always nauseaous the first day or two of TOM and I dumped the first cup and could not even bring myself to brew another all day...I was home most of the day...well on and off anyway...since I took today off to ferry DD to an orthodontist appointment..that is going to be a MAJOR undertaking when we get started...early treatment--2500, followup braces at around 13 another 3500-4500 depending on the total success of early treatment...she was a thumb sucker...not a deep impression of the thumb but enough that we have to fix especially the overbite and gapping. Ah, well, I am rambling!

Lori, here's hoping TOM won't stay too long! Feel better!

Noel, I feel ya, honey! I'm the nerd carrying around a gallon water jug all day! If I end up donating a kidney to someone one day, it'll be either good or bad: my kidney will either be excellent and flushed out clean.....or totally worn out! Not sure how that works....they aren't muscles, thankfully! Or mine would be sticking out of my back by now!

I had a 12 oz. bottle of green tea I made up this morning for the ride to work. I still haven't heard from Lipton about my suggestion that THEY bottle us some green tea!And tonight, I pulled a Barb and did a big cup with 2 bags: one plain green and one Earl Grey Green. (The acronym for that is EGG!)

I never was a coffee drinker, so it's been easy for me to make the switch. We have some Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee Coffee in the K-cups at work and it IS totally marvelous! Speaking of coffee.....check out my new thread with Starbucks in the title....I need HELP!! Thanks!
