I havent been feeling good for the past week or so but I was doing WATP 2 mile and then this weekend I shoveled 8 times....On days there is no snow and it isnt too cold, I walk 2 miles with my father in law....For some reason I cannot get rid of the 18lbs I gained after my wedding in August...I feel so gross....

Bud: Shoveling snow is exercise.
How great of you to have a walking buddy! Maybe that's what I need. It's also a good way to develop a close relationship with the paternal in law.

Hang in there...many, many, many of us are at a stall right now. And this too shall pass.

BTW...you may not want your email in your posts. That's a good way for spammers to pick it up.

Thanks, I removed it. Danielle's dad and i have a pretty good relationship as it is. It feels nice to get a long with my inlaws. Her whole family is great. My mother recently passed away, and it is nice to know that Danielle's mom is there for me...if I ever need her to be....

Today I had just plain green tea-decaf. Not as good as the mint kind. But it's what we have at the office. So I will have more tea tonight but with the mint at home.

Yesterday I had my big cup all ready to drink and I forgot about it. So when I had to leave I went and got it and chugged it. Gotta get the tea in! At least it was only luke warm.

Jess, that's aweful!!!! Can you get any bottled water until they get the problem cleared up????

Scott, that is great you have such a wonderful relationship with your In-laws. Makes life a lot easier, eh? sounds like you are getting some good exercise. I do the walkaerobics DVD with Leslie Sansone. I LOVE it. I also go to Curves. Keep up the WATP!!!! Maybe on some other post, if youhaven't already, post your menues and let the vets have look and see if we can spot any potential problems. We can analyze it for you, see if you are falling into any pitfalls like we have done in the past and help you correct it.

I have gotten in 2 doubles today. I finally got a bottle of Blueberry Davinci syrup and put some in my bottle of tea while I was out today. YUMMY!!!!!! I am so in love with blueberries!!!! They are my candy replacement. I will be making another cup soon, and while I was out, I found a place that has decaf, so I picked up a box. I can have evening tea again, WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!

I ended up getting Lipton Decaf Green Tea. It was the only one I saw in the store, other than the one that had honey..So I figured I would try the plain one.

The flavored green teas sound yummy. I will have to pick one of those up.

Where is a good place to post my menus up?

My current favorite is Bigelow's Earl Grey Green. I just love the smell/taste of the oil of bergamot.

Lori, I saw some Celestial Seasonings Echinacea at the store.....I don't know if it is flavored or if the echinacea is mixed in with some kind of tea or what.

I've done well with my green tea drinking.....if nothing else!

I got 5 cups in yesterday. I bought a new type of decaf that also has Lemon Grass in it. OH is THAT good!!!!! I got it at Cost Plus World Market, where I get my s/f Torani syrups too. It's "Good Earth" Green Tea Blend (decaf) It contains Decaf Green Tea, Lemongrass and natural flavors. I don't know how to describe the flavor, kinda fruity I guess. It's nice.

CS has Echinacea Complete Care.......that's what I use. It contains 35 mg vitamin C, 7.5 mg of Zinc, 650 mg Echinacea purpurea, and 120 mg eucalyptus. It also contains peppermint, licorice, chicory, natural menthol extract, lavender, stevia and star anise. I love it when I'm sick.

kim, the water problems have only been in the phoenix area. tempe/mesa are unaffected. it has something to do with sediments in the water due to all the rain we've been having & the water plant's inability to filter them out. here's an article:
http://www.azcentral.com/news/articl...er-main26.html

yesterday i went to trader joe's & got a box of kombucha green tea for $1.99. boiled some water & had my first cup during class yesterday afternoon with coconut sf syrup. HEAVENLY! i'm going to have to do some reading to figure out how to make my own-- barb, you make your own, don't you? i remember you posting about it, maybe i should just read back some. anyway, i love it-- such a distinct & yummy flavor.

yesterday i had 4 cups, would have loved to have had more, but the water problems didn't allow for that (we couldn't use the hot water thing on the coffee maker at work b/c it doesn't get to boiling temperature-- grrrr!). today i brought my own giant double mug of tea (made with 4 bags), so i know i'm good for at least 4 this morning.

Jess, here's a link to a past thread here about Kombucha. I GOT KOMBUCHA!!! thread BC posted a link to a very good site about K-Tea with good pictures, post #13. I also bumped the thread for ya........it's in the "Cave-man" forum.

If you are interested, I still have a "scoby" that I can mail to you. All I ask is that you reimburse me for the shipping. Just click on my name on the post here and look up my e-mail address or send me a private message so I can get your address from you. That site is complete with instructions how to do this. I now use GREEN tea to brew and ferment mine.

Hehe, after reading your post, I immediately went to my pantry and got out my coconut syrup. So I'm having a double of coconut/vanilla this morning..........YUMMY!!!!! Maybe after my tea cools down a bit, I'll put a shot of Kombucha in it too!!!! Why buy a special box of tea when I already have the brew ready to go???? We'll see how it tastes. I should prolly pour a little into a separate glass and do a taste test before I ruin the whole mug. Sounds like a plan. (but I think I will prolly like it!!!)
