I was out of iced green tea this morning, so I stopped in at CVS to see if they had any diet Arizona green. All they had was Arizona No Carb White Cranberry/Apple Green Tea. How convoluted is that? Tasted weird and had 4 grams of sorbitol in it, which didn't bother me.
I just brewed up a pitcher of plain green. When I drink it iced, I drink it plain. When I drink it hot, I like doing a double: 1 plain bag and one Earl Grey Green, or one from my Tazo Assorted teas collection.
Guess what? I've got 3 of the Dr.Phil group ladies drinking it now. Using "lose weight" and "antioxidants" in the same sentence seems to be a great motivator!

I hate the green tea I've been drinking at the office (the kind the boss bought after the other was close to gone)...I thought I could do it but I can't. I do have a couple coxes of the good stuff ehre with mint so I am taking them with me tommorrow so I can get back on track with my tea. Only two cups today.

I need to buy more flavors. I am going to go to the store after work and see what they have. Right now at home I have the Lipton Green Decaf...and what I did yesterday was put the Divinci Sugar free Vanilla Syrup in, and it was really good.
Last night I had some Vanilla Tea that was Decaf with the divinci syrup.

I had 4 cups of the green yesterday. I like green tea and am motivated to drink it over my favorite (English Breakfast) because of the antioxidant properties, so to me this isn't much of a challenge.

Noel, I keep a stash of stuff in my desk drawer (SteviaPlus, Sweet N Low, Green Tea, a couple bottles of water and even a can of emergency soup, which doesn't fit into my new WOE).

I learned some time ago that it's best to have my own stash. Back in the day when I drank a cup of real coffee...while others were drinking three and four, I found myself being the one who most often ran to the store to pick up a 3 lb can of coffee or industrial size creamer. It cost me a pretty penny to make sure the 4 cup drinkers were set for the day. And then, I bought myself a tiny coffee maker and decaf coffee (which nobody else in my office will touch). In other words, it sometimes pays to have your own stuff instead of depending on the office supply. Although, until I switched to green tea people were still coming to me to use my desk supply of creamer because the office supply was exhausted. When I started green tea, I ceremoniously donated my creamer to the office and now they have no reason to bug me...well, except for my bottle of s/f syrup under my desk. I take a good deal of ribbing about spiking my tea...but I've not offered to share. I'm afraid that everyone will like it and I'll be the weekly supplier of Davinci.

Heh, Melissa, THAT would cost a pretty penny to supply an entire office with syrups!!!! I would just politely tell them where they can buy their own. ALTHOUGH, it might be worth it to put ONE bottle in the lunchroom, or wherever the coffee supplies are, to let them see how yummy the sugar-free syrup is. You could tape a sign on the bottle saying, "Sugar-free, Can be purchased at ___________." On the other hand, you might not want them depleting your source of the beloved syrups. I get my Torani's at Cost Plus World Market. I LOVE that place!!!!! And Torani is $5.99 a bottle as opposed to $7.99 for Davinci's elsewhere.

TJ MAXX AND MARSHALLS sells the syrups for $5.99 too. I was surprised to find them there...I have to go back and get more. I just had my first cup of green tea and I am about to have my second.

Still chuggin the GT. I have bought several more kinds this week. Our Albertson's has started carrying Stash brand, so I got some of that. Then at the hfs yesterday, I got some Long Life brand GT. I think of all the GT's I've tried so far, I like cs and yogi the best. Anyone else notice how some of the GT's smell funny...kinda like a fishy smell when it is first brewed? Pluheeeeese tell me it's not my imagination!

happy sipping...
