April, I will ditto Kim's suggestion of Kombucha Green Tea by Yogi. I bought mine at Wild Oats HFS. This tea has a slightly fruity aroma and I do not need sweetener with it!

I have also added cream to the Yogi Chai green tea (my extra cup for the day) and it is very good. Thanks for the idea on that one, Barb!

And Maxi, I'll bet you are excited! How wonderful that you were able to help some of the ladies in your club. Great feeling, isn't it? As for acid reflux, I remember reading about that in Atkins when I first started. I doubted LC would cure that in my case. I was wrong! Have not had a Nexium in about 3-4 months. Because of a health insurance change, I was spending about $80/month for Nexium. That savings alone pays for part of my Green Tea obsession!

Hey guys -- I've been 'lurking' on this forum and reading it. A week or so ago I went and picked up a box of tea, and have had a cup or two of tea every day since then. I have coffee in the morning, water the rest of the day. It's now been a week, and as of this weekend, I'm down 19 pounds for the first 30 days of Atkins. I lost 4 pounds since Friday -- a pound a day (which I am concerned is too much). I posted my food stuff information in another thread - but could the Green Tea be the culprit?

I downed another 10 cups of the green stuff yesterday. It was still appalling. I'll take your advice, Kim, and get something besides Lipton.

Whatever the taste, I will continue to drink it. And I won't allow it to steep so long.

Thanks for the tidbits of info, everyone.

I'm finishing up cup #2 and I'm warming up water for two more. I think I'll make a batch of iced green today, too.

April:
I can't abide the regular green tea; think it is disgusting tasting. But I love the flavored varieties. So far I have tried and love them all:

Celestial Seasonings:
Blueberry Breeze Green Tea
Decaf Mint Green Tea

Bigelow
Constant Comment Green
Earl Gray Green
Green tea with Lemon

Lipton
Green Tea with Mint
Green Tea with Orange and passion fruit (sounds gross, but is good)

I don't sweeten them, but i have never liked sweetened tea, and so far i'm just drinking them hot. No cream cuz i'm just not a cream in tea person.

Try some flavors; the plain green is just ick, only my opinion.

I'm still here and still drinking my tea! Seems like if nothing else in the day goes right, I get my tea in! I have teabags at our offices, Arizona in the cooler at a client site, and iced in my fridge at home, in case I'm too lazy to brew a cup!

Everywhere I go, people are drinking green tea. We sell Bigelow by the case, which is 6 boxes of 28 for around $21, and I just had a customer TRIPLE their order. Love the green, love the Earl Grey, ADORE the Earl Grey Green....it's the best of both worlds.

If anyone want to order Tazo, Lipton, Bigelow, Celestial Seasonings K-cups, or any coffee supplies, PM me and I'll send your our website info.
