I've got my first 16oz going right now. Last night I was up all night in the bathroom. Talk about a diuretic! I needed it though I have been retaining water even though I have been drinking it. TOM you know.

Green tea will now replace soda in my life. I had switched to diet rite but I will happily give that up as well.

I'm excited to see how things progress.

I am having a hard time giving up my Diet Dr Pepper...I think it is a mental thing...but am way down from before I started LCing...was going through 24 a week of the 16 oz bottles and now like 8-10 a week...a vast improvementI have drank 8 since school let out on the 17th of Dec...than should tell you how much I drink a day...some days none, most days at least one...at home usually just one and it takes me all day...at school, I start one before school and usually finish it during lunch and sometimes start a second...it alldepends on what else I am doing...if we have a meeting I almost always have a second...if not, usually just my water...it is hard to drink tea at school...too much hassle and I don't have access to a microwave except at lunch and I have developed a taste for it hot. Took me about 3 boxes before I got used to the taste...mixed a pepperint bag in today with it...first cup was weird but I really liked the second cup.

Well I"m officially addicted to this stuff, if i'm not drinking water, it's what I"m drinking. I love it, but the only thing not so wonderful is having to pee in the middle of the night. I'ts given me the bladder of a kindergardener. Kind of stinks, but it's better than gaining weight. We'll see what the scale brings in the morning with all the tea and the FFast. Hopefully a few more pounds gone from my life forever.

Sharron, I don't really have any official recipes for the stew or meatballs, I just kind of throw this and that in. I'll have to think on it awhile. I haven't really made the meatballs since lcing, 'cuz I always used to use bread in them as a binder. But I suppose a couple slices of LC bread wouldn't hurt. I'm going to have to get some ground pork. I use that plus ground beef in them, they taste way better that way. But if ya don't eat pork, you can always leave it out.

I'm making a pretty quick comeback since piling on a few pounds through the holidays too. I really think it's because of the tea. I'm just finishing up my Gingerbread Spiced Green Tea and will brew another decaf for my last cup of the night. The Gingerbread tea (Celestial Seasonings) plus a dash of vanilla syrup makes it taste like a dessert, along with the dash of half and half and a pinch of stevia. YUM!!!!!!! I've really been pushing the water too, but I have to cut that off before 9 pm in order to not wake up in the middle of the night.

Celest-way to go!

Megan, I totally agree that the GT is a diuretic. I was at my last account for 5 hours and I went to the "toidy" (as Barb calls it) 5 times. And I got up 3 times to pee last night. I'm careful to just shuffle in there, pee, wash hands, get a SIP of water and go back to bed. If I don't wake up too much, I barely remember getting up. It must not have very much caffiene, 'cuz I can drink it prior to bed and I go right to sleep.

I was down 2 pounds this morning. I drank some green tea on the way to work. Then I had a cup of Earl Grey, then some water. By 8:30 a.m., I REALLY had to go! I don't think I will give up my herbal teas and the occasional cup of EG, but I could care less about diet sodas now.

I drank 48 oz green tea today. I know I am going to regret it tonight but the only way my body will get use to it is to keep on drinking it.

This morning after my post I went to teh potty three times in two hours. I'm still dropping a lot of water weight I am sure. I had gotten kind of lapse with my intake. So 48 oz green tea and 64 oz water at work made for a busy day. Then I came home and am now making up the rest of my water. I'm going to bed early cause I'm gona be up a few times tonight I just know it.

At least I know I ain't the only one making these late night trips.

No, Noel. You aren't the only one making late night trips. Sadly, though, I was getting up once in the middle of the night at least three times a week before I started green tea. Now, it's almost every night. I like the tea, drink the decaf day and night, but I'm thinking that I may want to limit my night intake just so I can get a couple nights of uninterupted sleep. I really NEED my beauty sleep!

Before the holiday bashing that I did for 4 days, I was losing nicely while drinking green tea-I drink 5-6 cups a day. I still drink my 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning while playing on here but once thats over-no more during the day-I used to actually drink 2 pots at work by myself-all day long. No longer crave it since drinking green tea. I'm having a bit of trouble recouping from the holiday but I am trying to stay positive and blaming it on TOM that greeted me on tuesday. Not really what I needed after bingeing for 4 days.

3 lbs away from my signature weight which I guess isn't too bad but boy do I feel bloated. Like the rolls have just grown over the last few days and taking over my whole body!

Everyone is doing great-keep up the good work.

Way to go, Barb!

I am down a pound today. I really pushed my water yesterday. 8 oz. short on GT, but ALL my water. I really think water is the KEY. And the additional GT that we drink is just more . . . . WATER!

Sounds like everyone is doing great!

Last night I was only up once. Maybe tonight I won't be up at all. It would be nice if my body gets use to the extra water and tea that quickly.

Today I had my 32oz. Also only went potty four times at work instead of 10 like yesterday. And this is in 7 1/2 hours so you can imagine how much I was in the BR the day before. At least I told them I was drinking more so the office people understood.

I was down a significant amount today. I think I've already lost the last of my water weight from TOM since I started the tea. Yippee!

I am drinking a gallon of water a day in addition to my 2-3 cups of green tea, so the potty and I are well acquainted!

I am down another 2 pounds as of this morning. I'm quite sure between eating on plan, having the green tea stoke up my metabolism, and drinking all that water, I'll have those "Christmas pounds" off pretty soon.
I still need to set my Gazelle back up, as soon as the tree goes away.....
