| BArb--thanks--it is the carb hangover headache as I go back to induction and find out just how bad I had been based on the reaction to dropping the carbs significantly. I did get 4 cups in today...I lived in the bathroom today and last night...should be losing the bloat...even before TOM shows his ugly face...but it isn't due for a few more days...so maybe I will actually show a loss now...I was not really gaining on 70-100 carbs until I couldn't workout/didn't workout over Christmas excpet the three times in 2 1/2 weeks DD had swimming lessons...I was asking for trouble...and the carb withdrawl reactions.

| Barb, what I was wondering about is the Green Tea Challenge thnig in the signatures with the tea cup. I remember when you first got it...was it gary that made it I think or ed...anyhow, I wanted to add it to my signature and as trying to figure out how. And I don't want to read through a ton of posts to find it. I had my 32 oz today. Today I was slacking at work with my water though now that I am drinking the tea. So I need to work on that.

| Hi, everyone! I'm drinking my green tea twice a day: in the morning on the way to work in the car, and with my dinner in the evening. That seems to do the trick. I brewed up a fresh batch tonight. In the photo, I'm the taller one with brown hair. Right now, I'm trying to find a picture to post....they are all either VERY unflattering, from high school, my Glamour shots from 1992, or my school pictures! I'll figure something out. Hey, does anyone thing that we, along with the rest of the new green tea drinkers in this world (since Dr.Perricone was on Oprah) will cause an unbalance in the tea market.....or the forests/orchards/wherever it is produced? I meant that as a joke....but think about how the orange growers and bread manufacturers have been crying.........

| Thanks Tina, yea, just pop that code into your sig line and take out the spaces in the [img] tags. hehe, I doubt the tea thing will cause an imbalance. China is the major producer of it and it's a HUGE country. I'm sure it's their major export. If anything, we are really stimulating their economy!!!!! I just hope the price doesn't rise. I'll keep buying mine at my Asian market nearby where EVERYTHING is cheap!!!!! I got my fourth cup in. I find that if I only do 3, there's not much difference in my weight. I think 4 should probably be the minimum. (four fresh cups with four fresh bags, that is) Lori, carbhangovers are the worst!!!!!

| Pleased to say-I was totally cheat free yesterday-yea its only one day but after the holidays, its a big start. got my 5 cups of tea in-Barb, I agree with you-I think I have better luck when I drink more than 3 cups. I wish we had an asian market around here-this tea thing gets expensive but i personally think it works. Kim, I am having the same problem as you with the water-the more tea I drink, the less water. yesterday, I started alternating-cup of tea-20 oz water-it was working pretty good until I got busy at work and then forgot about the water. I only got in 72 oz and it should be 100 for me to work well. I have alot of holiday bloat to get rid of. |

| Hey, I know that I'm REALLY, REALLY LATE, but can I join you guys??? Been reading all the good things about green tea -- which I love anyway -- and it seems that the decaf works just as well as the caffeinated, so I'm in! I have had 3 cups today. I guess I *could* go back and read through this really huge thread, but, um, how much do you all drink a day, on average? Is there anything else I need to know? TIA,
