Noel--don't sweat it, get back on track and let it be behind you! We all have those days!

16 Down, 84 to go and only a couple of really bad days so far! Today was cheat free...tomorrow will NOT be...I am dying ofr a reeces peanut butter cup...I made a pan of homemade ones...will have a couple tomorrow...will figure out how bad it is going to be and let you all know later...I don't consider today a cheat...though I ate about half a serving of potatos at waffle house for lunch...I didn't eat any processed foods or junk foods...I cleaned out my fish tank some more...can't change more than 20% of the water in any one day...and it has some issues right now. Anyway, tomorrow I will have a couple of squares...it can't be as bad as eating two boughten cups and DH's off ice staff will love the treats! Minimize the damages and I get to share some fun candy too! I love them though...I don't know what is wrong with me right now...I have to wonder if my cycle is messed up...and my hormones are runnin amuk...TOM is over...not a typical time for me to have trouble with sugar/sweets issues! Any maybe by tomorrow I won't want any and will leave the candy alone and it will all go to his office...who knows...I will not be home a lot and I will swim as normal on Mondays! Only chnage from normal is that I don't have to work tomorrow so I will get groceries and all that good stuff AND I get to sleep in a bit...I hate getting up early!

Don't fret it, Noel. The challenge is to have 100 cheat-free days. I don't there was anything in your contract that said they needed to be consecutive cheat-free days.

Put it out of your mind and move on Noel. Your doing GREAT and one day of not so good choices will not matter in the long run.

I added them up and I was good for 20 days...I know 1 won't kill me. I guess I was ready for a little splurge.

14 days down, 86 more to go.

I met with my son, his girlfriend, his grandma (on his dad's side) and her hubby for dinner at one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants. Oh, was I tempted. But I resisted. I ordered a fajita salad...and to my surprise, it didn't even have dressing on it. That left plenty of calorie and carbs left over for dessert. I'll be having berries and cream and probably a few more pecans.

Made it thru 14 days on to 15 today, had a wonderful weekend of good food,
dh is out of town fishing - oh the life... anyway, with him gone, and roommate gone, I have the house to myself for a week, did some heavy duty cooking this weekend, curry chicken and veggies, stew with veggies and some plain broiled chicken breasts for using in salads, etc.
it was nice having the house to myself, not sure how long it has been, I loved living alone when I was single so this is no biggie, but it has been a long long time....
dogs and I are hanging out together.... won't have to cook, just reheat, might tackle the closet tonite....(did the spare room closet on saturday, it felt good to get it cleaned up.)
anyway, will talk later,
:jumpgreen

Is it too late to join this challenge? I finally figured out how to put the logo in my sig line (yeah, I read Barb's tutorial. Just I don't have I.E.), so I'd hate to have that go to waste.

If so, then I've got two days down! :jump:
Ok, so maybe I didn't figure out the logo thing. lol

Welcome Vicki!
It's never too late to join this challenge. As you can see, those of us already in it are at several different stages. Jess is at day 30, Dahlia is on day 12 and I'm just wrapping up day 15.

You should find a link to a happy face sheet on the first post in this thread. You can print it out and hang it on your fridge, on your desk, etc. I'm lazy. I didn't do the smilely page. I just noted day one on my food journal and still, the challenge keeps me in check. (Yesterday I was tempted by enchilada, refried beans, flour tortillas...but I ordered a fajita salad instead...and that's because I was reminded of this challenge as I was looking over the menu.)

Day two after teh cheat and doing fine. If I can make it in 20 day increments I'll be happy. I may not go for 100 but I'm still putting the smilies/frowns on my faces. So we'll see how things go.
