I've got 23 days down. I plan to increase my calories and carbs for the next couple of days, but I'll do that while staying on plan. It's an experiment to see ensure my body doesn't think it's starving.

Gregg...you're right not to worry about the teeny bit of crust that was stuck to your topping. It probably didn't have more than 5 carbs to it.

When I'm in the mood for pizza, my son and I go to a chicago style pizza place and we order the stuffed pizza, which isn't stuffed, but has toppings piled inside a thin crust with high side walls. We share a Caesar salad while waiting for our pizza--which takes about 40 minutes to cook. Then when it comes, I eat the topping...which is packed with calories and a few extra carbs from the sauce...and I leave the crust behind. It's so good and filling that I don't even miss the crust.

Weekend is over, didn't do too bad, made it thru....
last time I checked my weight (last friday) I was 7lbs down from the
holiday "pig out" and have 12 more to get rid of....
so things are going well for me
tho today there were like 10 boxes of various donuts in the kitchen,
I have gone in there three times to get coffee this am, and havn't
had one .... wish they would put them somewhere else....
anyway, only two boxes left... still havn't had one.
Almost smells too sweet in there....
mmmm maybe I am finally getting the "sugar" out of my system.

Well, I'm around day 25, but am thinking about starting over. Why, you may ask? Because I'm pregnant! :butterfly

We've wanted to have 2 all along, just wanted to wait until DS was around 3 before the other one was born.

Took a pg test last week, and it was negative, but in the back of my mind I thought I was. Today is day 45 of my cycle and the pg test came back positive. From my best calculations, I'm due Oct. 1.

So, I'm going to stick with the 100 days cheat free challenge, just up my carbs to around 80, and also the Couch Fauxtato challenge, because I know I need to do my exercises. I was bad about that the last time.

I think I'll start the 100 days over, though, since I plan on doing the maintenance level of atkins for my pregnancy, which is definitely longer than 100 days!

Today is my 18th. day of not cheating.
That is how long I have been on Atkins low carb to.
I started on January 10th. and have lost from 245 lbs. to 235 and 1/2 lbs. as of last Saturday.
I know I have lost more this week but I will not weigh in until Saturday again and then in my weight loss.
I have been averagering almost 5 lbs. a week so i guess that is not to bad.
i know I have lost at least that much this week to.

24 down...
and all I can say is: Thank goodness for this challenge!

I've been dissappointed with my weight loss, actually lack of weight loss, all month but most especially the past two weeks. I've never felt like throwing in the towel on low-carbing, but today I drove through Jack-in-the-Box for a fast grab and go meal and all I could think about was their tacos. You know the ones, they're greasy with meat that may or may not be real, spicy and all packed in a carb-filled, grease-soaked tortilla...but man are they good!

I began to wonder if I was schizophrenic as I heard a conversation in my head.
"If I cheat, I'll not lose this weight."
"You're not losing weight anyway, so what will it hurt?"
"Yeah and it would taste so good. But I'd really hate myself before I'd finished the first taco and I know I'd eat the second one just because it's there and I paid for it and didn't want it to go to waste."
"You're not happy with yourself anyway. Besides, maybe a dose of carbs is what your body needs to start losing again." (this thinking came about because I ate high calories for four days in hopes of tricking my metabolism.)

I finally won out by reminding myself that I'd have to post my meal on the Turtle's thread and that I'd have to post my cheat here.

Yep...24 down...and only 76 more to go.

Congratulations Mada! And good going hanging in the challenge too.
Melissa, Lol I can relate to the inner voices, I don't usually like to admit it though. This challenge is good for accountability all right.
Speaking of which, I did have a beer Friday night. I felt sufficiently guilty about it though. I don't know how many carbs are in a MGD. But I think I was still around 50 for the day. So I'm not considering it a BIG cheat.
So, 29 days!
