3 days cheat free, 4 days of morning exercise. I don't think I would be doing it if I didn't have to report it. It's still awfully hard to get out of bed in the mornings.

Day One was successful!! 99 more to go! This is a great challenge. My husband told me last night he thought this was too much, that I should go day to day or week to week, but like I told him, if it was that short of a challenge I tend to say "oh, I'll restart tomorrow" whereas 100 days makes me want to start NOW and stick with it. Great idea here!!

It is day-to-day - just going for 100 of them.. It does seem to help me cause even though I made a good day, I have to wake up in the morning and shoot for another one.

And I try not to think about it as 100 in a row - cause then if I do mess up, I've broken it. I'm considering it 100 consistently. If I have one bad day, it just adds another day to the end. (But I try my bext not to have a bad day)

Noel-- way to go on eating out at a Mexican restaurant & finding something low carb!!! I recently had a similar experience-- hubby & I went with another couple to a Mexican restaurant. I had such a hard time finding something on the menu that wasn't wrapped in a tortilla or served on a bed of rice! I ended up with a fajita salad w/o the bowl. They brought it to me & it didn't even have any dressing on it! At least once I put some ranch & salsa on it, it was better, but blah! I hope we don't have to go back for Mexican food any time soon. (It also didn't help that everyone else at the table then had fried ice cream for dessert!) So I know what it's like to sort of want something else, pick the right thing, sit through watching everyone else eat the things you know you shouldn't, and then feel that sense of achievement when the meal is over. All I can say is-- Way to go!!!

17 cheat free days!!

Made it two days, 98 more to go...
I am hoping that after 100 days cheat free, the inability to say no to something I "want to eat" will be no problem, like I don't eat that way any more, or I don't eat that food anymore.
I know 100 days is a lot, and I am trying to do it one day at a time, I have my smiley face chart on my door to my office at work, I am here more than I am at home, so I thought I would be better having it there.

didn't have as many cravings last night, did have some sf jello with some whipping cream and a cup of hot tea with cream and splenda....
but other than that, I did very well.

Great going people! Day 4 here and going strong. 100 days does seem like a long time. But that's good thing. Just think of the progress we will make in that time. And just in time for Spring too. Like Carloyn said, eating clean will become second nature by then. Like they say, better to aim high and miss than to aim low and hit. Not that anyone here is gonna miss. Not with the determination we got going here.
Keep it up!

Thanks for the nice comments on the logo. I'm totaly impressed that you all are so dedicated to your 100 day challenge I thought you should have a little visual to add to your sigs. Also to show all those who are new to this WOE that you and they can have a long term goal and live a healthy lifestyle by eating only LC.
(if the cartoon fries are giving you cravings for them, maybe just use the sig only in the other fourms )

Best Wishes, I hope you all make it to your goal.

Ed

I hope no one was hurt Kim. I can just picture you having a craving so bad for fires that you drive the car right thru the window and into the store. Like the Terminator. "I'll be back!. For hashbrowns in the morning!"

Thumbs up Re: 100 Days Cheat Free

I love this challenge - and am joining as of tommorow. I didn't *really* cheat in the past eight days, but I am keeping on 20 carbs or lower a day and I did eat almost 30 in the past two days. So, my challenge starts Friday. Wish me luck!

Also, congratulations everybody, great going! I will enjoy sharing this challenge with you.
