Maggie,

Since you are so clever with these things, do you know how to change the year in the Couch Fauxtato logo?

Rob's working on it, Colleen.

It's not just a simple tweak that a member can do. We actually need to revise the logo. I'm sure we'll have a new one soon.

I've asked eddoggie if he could change the logo for us since he's the one who designed the spinning part of the logo. MAggie designed the center. Ed says he can change it if he can locate the design on his computer.

All right, I have a bachelor's in computer science, and a master's in management of information systems, and I am EMBARRASED to admit this, but I CANNOT get a logo to work in my signature! Here is what I'm typing in (the couch fauxtato challenge logo):

It doesn't bring up an image, it just shows the code in my signature. I will admit that html isn't my strong suit but this is downright humiliating. Help!

LOL, it only shows up on the actual post page, not in the text boxes when you are typing. BUT, you DID it!!!! And they only show up on the first post of each page per thread.

BB's are a different animal sometimes.

Eddie, I'm happy to fix this for you, but I suspect that we were both working on your signature at the same time. You from your user cp and me from the administrative. I fear I may have bolixed things up.

We don't use html here, but use BBcode.

To get your couch fauxtato image into your signature, it should look like this:

[ img]http://tinyurl.com/6z4g2[ /img]

except take out the spaces - one before img and one before /img. If I hadn't put the spaces in, you'd only see the logo.

Sorry if I screwed up your siggy by trying to help.

LOL. Thanks Maggie. I went in and fixed it, and put the code in, and it worked this time. I could have sworn that that is what I was doing before, but maybe not. Thanks Maggie and Barb for your help!
