Hi all, my name is Jen and I would like to join your challenge. I am currently at 212 lbs and would like to get to 199 soon I have an interim goal of 183 by July 1, so I guess I can hit 199 by May perhaps. The one monkey wrench in the plan is that I am currently nursing my 9 month old son, so I cannot do anything other than Maintenance, but nursing is supposed to burn 500 calories a day, so if I eat Maintenance and watch my calories, theoretically I should lose some weight.

Thanks

By the way, put me down for 221...the scale finally moved A LITTLE for me. And this was after walking for 3 days in a row. Think there is any correlation??? hmmmmmmmmm....

Ju, good for you! I can't wait to join you in the 100 club!

Renee, I finally got back to 224 after a MONTH! Good grief! I could just slap myself for the Christmas fiasco......I'l bet you THIS Christmas I keep my butt on plan! Like you said....live and learn. TOM is on it's way, so if I gain a few, I'm gonna try not to freak. It's usually water-weight.
Take care, everyone!

Renee, I'm here! I have my Dr.Phil-good Girls meetings on Monday nights, so I usually don't have time to get online. My weight has been fluctuating ALOT since TOM arrived with a trickle, then a flood! No cramps or leg aches, though. Love that green tea!

I was at 225 Sunday, 226 for my Valentine's Day weigh-in, and 224 today. I also changed my amount per month to lose to 3 pounds. If I lose more, that's good, but if I don't, at least I won't be quite so disappointed.

199 is alot closer now than when we started. Let's keep the faith!

Maxibee--Congrats on your loss...I too was wondering if 5 lbs a month is a little optimistic. I'm gonna see how it goes this month and then may be make it 3 or 4 instead.

I am so frustrated with my unwillingness or inability to exercise. I work all day then teach a class monday through thurs nites and by the time I get done with all that, I want to take a bath, spend some time w/ DP, unwind a little before bed and then get up and do it all again the next day.

I could walk at lunch but i'm not. I could exercise on the weekends but I'm not. I know I would be losing faster but I'm not. And since it is a choice I am making, my disappointment is my own fault. The class I teach is over 3/2 so i'm thinking more time for exercise, fewer excuses...

Thanks for listening to my whining!
