| I'm in the same boat right now with clothes, Calico. I have 3 pairs of jeans that are about 10-15 pounds away from comfort (and looking as good as they could), and the jeans that I own are so baggy that I just don't feel my best wearing them anymore. I'm definitely not going to gain weight to fit into them right again, so I guess I better get my behind in gear and get some more pounds OFF! I hit 222.2 and have been bouncing up and down ever since. It's me. It's not one of those unknown things. I've just been eating too much, and have had carb creepage in a really bad way. I gave up soda on Friday, and I miss it so BADLY. I've been hitting the LC treats more than I should, but I already decided not to buy anymore when we run out of what's in the house.

| We don't EVEN want to start a Carb Creep Club! So let's all just agree to stay away from the "creepy" treats. I was still at 211 today. I'm bummed because I've been as low as 204 with 199 RIGHT THERE....a mere 5 lbs. away. But I am on track and not allowing myself to make excuses. There are only about 4 weeks until Labor Day and my challenge goal for that is 199. Let's see if I make it. I really want to make a run at 199....downward ONLY until I get there. Have a good evening and hang in there.

| Calico, I'm a different shape - thick in the waist. So my problem is if I buy slacks that fit my waist (and allow me to breathe), then they are super baggy in the hips and rear. My co-workers have suggested a seamstress/tailor. I'm so lazy about stuff like that..I just live with it. I didn't end up shoppng (chose golf instead) so I'm stuck with the baggies until I have time to go next weekend. That gives me time to lose 1-2 more lbs. Looking forward to the day I can buy off the rack at a normal store and have something fit!

| I finally got to change my stats! Woohoo! One lb closer to onederland. I am setting my goal to get there for US Thanksgiving. 4 months away and 19 lb to go. I think I can do it! It will take much more discipline and focus than I have had for the past 2 months. New committment begins today: Journal Water Exercise Gotta go get started... 250/218/150

| False start. I did not live up to my re-dedication this week....Didn't lose, didn't gain. When I came back in here and read my motived vow, I just shook my head. I remember feeling very focused that day, but I lost momentum very soon after. I really need to come in here every day for some accountability. I've only been posting on the weekends and that is too long for me to go without support. Hope everyone is still working toward Onederland. I'm still planning to hit it by end of November.

| Well, I'm up a pound at this weigh-in. Could be in part to TOM and/or also my mini stress breakdown that resulted in the consumption of 2 Kripsy Kreme donuts at work on Thursday. *sigh* I felt terrible the rest of the afternoon from all that sugar, so maybe I will kept that feeling in mind the next time I face temptation. Several people at work did ask if I had lost more weight this summer, which I haven't unfortunately, but they swear they can see a difference, so yay! Is everyone else still hanging in there?? We can do it, ladies!! |

| I finally got back into the "single digits" from all the way to 214 back down to 208. I think this scale may never move down again. Maybe when watermelon season is over...

| I know It has been a long time, Plus I gained weight since my last post, But I have been losing so far. I found out that I have high blood pressure so I have to definitely get this weight off seriously this time. | Calico, could be that your body shifting weight. Mine did January 2005. I lost one pound the whole month but lost and inch off my waist. I don't know if shifting is the right term but it's the one I use. When I am done with the 250 challenge I will join you all with the 199 challenge. Though by then you may all be below 199 but there will always be a new group (I hope).

| Way to go Maxibee! You are headed for the goal and getting so close! Calico- I know what you mean about feeling bad. I couldn't figure out why I was so unusually tired for a few days last week. Then I realized that ice cream sundaes and Hershey kisses were sneaking into my life and causing sugar spikes. And as a result, the sugar drop. Aside from losing weight, LC is the best way to control my sugar and energy levels. Eating off plan makes me feel bad emotionally (guilt) as well as physically. I love that I can still learn new things about this body of mine in my middle years.

| Okay... so everyone probably thinks I deserted you all, but I haven't! I PROMISE> Just been distracted and my weight has shown it. Been back LCing for about a week.... but can't give up the damn apples... but better than 1/2 a loaf of white bread... LOL. Anyways... I'd love to post a weight, but I'm staying off the scale until Sept. 15th... so *hopefully* I'll be posting that I"m in one-derland... but I'll be cutting it close. Hope you are all well! PS-Ladygirl... are you in induction? And trying not to weigh everyday..... when your losses slow a bit, the ups and downs for daily weighing will drive you insane! *TRUST ME* I'm a scale-a-holic! |
