Been back LCing for about a week.... but can't give up the damn apples... but better than 1/2 a loaf of white bread... LOL. Anyways... I'd love to post a weight, but I'm staying off the scale until Sept. 15th... so *hopefully* I'll be posting that I"m in one-derland... but I'll be cutting it close. Hope you are all well!

PS-Ladygirl... are you in induction? And trying not to weigh everyday..... when your losses slow a bit, the ups and downs for daily weighing will drive you insane! *TRUST ME* I'm a scale-a-holic!

Yes I just started Induction on the 15th of this month, See the thing with me is I like weighing in everyday it doesn't discourage me one bit if I went up a few ounces or pound, haven't so far because I have been staying strictly by the book lol, But I am going to start weighing in once a week starting next week since I just started I want to see where I am every morning. The scale has been going down every morning since I step on it. I actually lose weight pretty fast when I decide to eat right plus I have been exercising like I am in a military boot camp lol. Been doing the firm and walk away the pounds and on my lazy days I use my gazelle. Whats motivating me to stick with this is having the doctor tell me that I have high blood pressure, plus my grandmother died from kidney diease and my aunt died from diabetes all weight related :( Good luck with your weight loss and girl cut out them apples lol. I have decided to weigh in next thursday to give myself a few days.

So it's the Sept 2nd, 8 days 'til my next weigh-in. I have managed to stay off of the scale for nearly two weeks already... so *hoping* that it will yield some good results when I get on the scale next sunday. And REALLY hoping to be under 220 by then....

Been pretty good on my eating.... need to make sure I force myself to eat breakfast and lunch.... and workouts have been going well. Missed yesterday due to some inclement weather and long hours at work. But definately running 4 miles today, and doing the Turbojam workout. Really need to be working on my pushups and situps(as they are part of the PFT) But atleast turbojam is working my abs.... and as for pushups... well I NEED to get going on those. But as I lose weight.... they get easier (from what I have learned from past LCing success.)

So here's to a successful weigh-in next week *clicking glasses of H20* Hope it's a good one!

Congrats to the "losers" here! I can't join in, since I stayed the same (which is
better than gaining, I suppose). I did not do well lc-ing this week. I work with
the mother and sister of one of the victims of that plane crash that happened a week ago in Lexington, so it's been a very emotional week, and I'm an emotional eater, so...

I am beginning to doubt that I'll be able to lose the 10 lbs minimum I was hoping for before October. I've gained and lost the same 3 lbs since early June, and can't
seem to get a grip on self-control. I'm not giving up though!

Calico, I totally understand the emotional eating. Been going through some myself, though not for nearly as important reasons. Be there for your friends and we'll be here for you when you are ready.

Ladygirl99 - You are amazing. This is how I felt when I was serious about the WOE. Great results and great motivation. Thanks for the kick I need to get back on it.

For me:
250/218/150
I set my goal for 199 by November.

Well, I'm back on track. It's only been days, but I already feel better. I can't wait to see the next step towards 199.

I set my goal at 10 pounds/month, averaging 2-3 pounds/week. That is probably ambitious for the long term, but I'm counting on a whoosh as I go through induction again, then a more reasonable 1-2 lbs/week.

Either way, I'm heading for One-derland....

19 to go!

Still on plan, workouts are going well. Although todays AM got skipped to talked to my bestfriend who is in the Netherlands. Haven't talked to her since june(they just got a phone) and I needed to talk to her! 4 days until the weigh-in. Excited and nervous! But hoping to be under 220.... really hoping.

Okay.... so I just realized that in my rush to see how much progress I've made.... I have been typing that my weigh-in is on the 10th, and looking at my signature... reminded me that it isn't until the 15th...damnit. SO I actually have 8 days, until the weigh-in. GUess it's just another week and one day away to make some more progress. CLothes are looser.... and my face looks thinner(that's what people are telling me).

oh yeah, I want in on this challenge too! I was at 223.5 this morning, so I've got 24 lbs to go. I had a little vacation and I'm back on strict induction, so I'm hoping to see some of it come off quickly! One-derland, here I come!!!

I weighed in this morning and am down 2 lbs. Yay! I'm still struggling with carb
cravings and temptations. Several of us who started this back in last fall, and
have all fallen off and gotten back on the LC wagon, have noticed that it's so much
harder than it was initially. Not sure if it's just us or if this is something others
have also found after trying to start again. Anyone else seen this?

Seems like we all are hanging in there, which is GREAT. Keep it up, ladies!!

I hear ya, Calico! I've been struggling to get back in my personal "zone" for a couple of months now. I just wonder what it's going to take to get me back on the wagon consistently. But I'm back here again, trying to regain control. Good to see you again!

I think it's just harder to not "induldge" when you spent 4 months prior to getting back on the wagon... eating everything insite! LOL IMO

I'm having visions of Cuba Gooding, Jr. in his role of "Radio".......yelling encouragement at the football players......2 simple words that mean SO much: "Don't quit!"
