Bumping us up again. I'm still plugging along. Easter found me eating too many SF treats, and I am still not exercising regularly. Not gaining , feeling good. THis is my mantra. Need to pump my attitude up so it's "Losing!!! Feeling great!!"

How's everyone else doing?

I gained....again. I'd love to blame it on my new BC "ring", but I know it's just me and my eating off plan. (And not exercising, either.) I was doing so good a couple of weeks ago. I was getting up early, exercising 20 minutes or so....you know, enough to burn a few calories and rev up my slow metabolism. I was drinking a BIG glass of water on the way to work and taking my vitamins with it. So, I was getting my exercise, alot of my water, and my supplements taken care of by 7:00 a.m.!! By then, I WANTED to stay on plan and have a good day. Then, DD got sick and I stayed up all night with her, there was Easter (it's my turn to entertain the family) and I just haven't been able to get back on track yet.
But, I'm going to. I set a goal for April 1st, and that's no April Fool. I'm gonna do my best to start going to bed earlier, get up earlier, and get back into my Big 5 routine.
1.Sleep 2.Supplements 3.Lowcarb 4.Water 5.EXERCISE This is the only routine that works for me and I have to be consistent with it.

I still say we're gonna reach our goal weights this year, Renee. (Although I seem to be going in the wrong direction!)

I sure hope you're right Maxibee...I am going up now too, I can feel it. I am afraid to get on the scale!!! I had a bad back all week so not only no real exercise but a lot of sitting around, too many low carb treats still, too much food in general....ugh.

I know what i need to do, and i have to do it--i'm going in the opposite direction!! I am making a commitmemt to weigh and measure this weekend and i wil be honest about it all when i post on monday. Yipes.

Thanks for being here everyone!

I saw 213 on the scale today - sounds good to me - anything lower is great. How's everyone else doing?

Hi everybody!

Welcome ladygirl--not sure if I read your stats right but are you really trying to lose 50 lbs by June?? That's quite a lot!

I have had a hair raising few weeks--I sort of fell off the wagon--too many high calorie fatty treats, which led to LC treats, (you know how you can buy whole boxes of Atkins bars at sams??? DP and I decided those would be a good, quick meal replacement and swore that we would have one each per day. hahahahahahaahhahha that's funny. ) Anyway, that led to some sugary slips and lo and behold my pants were getting tighter and tighter...I couldn't bear to step on the scale because I was so afraid of what I would see...If I had gained 10 of my pounds back (which I was just sure I had) I was just going to throw in the towel.

So last Sunday, after the bars were gone and I was throughly disgusted with myself, i went back in induction, where I have been for the past 7 days. I felt really good about my week of eating, my clothes were looser, and yesterday got on the scale to see that I was back to my good old 220. Whew. Feel like I dodged a major bullet. I can't keep doing this.

Today I'm in ketosis, feeling great, lots of energy, and ready to get these 21 lbs off so I can get over the wall!! No more excuses, no more slipping, i know what I need to do and I am ready to do it!

Hoohah!! or Huzzah! or whatever that Army cheer is!

How is everyone else doing?

Renee, you know I had gone all the way up to 234!! Yikes. So, April 1, I recommitted to doing this right. Not Induction, but being strict. I am also trying to do my Big 5 every day: getting enough sleep, taking my supplements, eating right, drinking my water, and exercising. I'm doing 4 out of 5 on any given day. But, I've gone from 234 back to 227. I've been there for 3 days, so I'm ready to go down now.

I hate re-losing weight. I know, I know....when I chose the actions, I chose the consequences.

I'm determined to get over that wall by the end of this year!

OK everyone, bumping our thread up here, because I have good news. I finally lost that flippin pound that has been dogging me. I'm finally in the teens at 219!!!

I did these things
upped my carbs to 25 w/ veggies
upped m,y exercise just a little bit
started counting calories as well as carbs.

Not sure which thing did it, but i hope and pray it continues!

How's everyone else doing?

Thanks, Angie! I got them, 'cuz I was down 3 pounds this morning!! (Not to be too TMI here, but I think my body is doing Spring Cleaning: cleaning out and getting rid of everything it doesn't want.) I know I've been on plan....so I'm glad to be going the right direction now.

I was so happy for you, Renee, after you were 220 for WEEKS!

Uh....closer than I was a few days ago! I was down (back down) to 226 this morning. I was careful not to "celebrate" like I do sometimes. "Oh, since I lost, I deserve a little extra __________." Not this time. I hope the 226 sticks and I go down from there. I have about 2 weeks or so until TOM comes back, so I have the time to lose some more. I was at 224 in January, then I don't know WHAT happened.

I'm pretty sure I won't make it to my goal weight by year's end, but I REALLY want to be below 200 by then.

Is DP still lowcarbing? It would be so much easier around here if DH would just listen to me and join me in this effort. His "gut" is bigger than mine was the day I delivered my daughter! LOL!
