| Thanks for sharing your story with us Renee. I love hearing what brought people to LCing; its just knowing others have similar struggles that makes it easier to keep going. No of us are alone in this, and it has become second nature anymore. As for my journey to 199 - I'm still sitting at 210.5 - it's a slow and winding path but I'm trying to enjoy the scenery!

| Maxibee I just love your avitar! Sawyer is some :hot: stuff! I just hate that the season ended the way it did don't you? Ugh!:eek My favorite guy is Hurley though. He is so funny! I'm down to 215 now. I just feel that those 100's are almost in my reach! Then it will feel like I'm on the home stretch. Oh the days of wearing a size 16 are coming soon! :butterfly |

| Hi, Heather! I said I'd write my story soon....maybe I will. I think I will see if I've written it already on here. No sense repeating myself. If I find it, I'll bump it up for ya'll. It may take me years to reach my goal, but I DO want to be under 200 by the end of this year.

| I'm so excited to get weighed in tomorrow! I've been doing so good over the weekend. Almost wish I hadn't thrown the scale away when I started going to the diet center. It was junk and I plan on buying a new one when I graduate ! A good one that will tell down to the ounce. I'm a scale-aholic |

Well, I was excited about today and what do you know? I didn't lose! I can feel it in my clothes even over the weekend so I know that I've lost fat but have gained muscle with all the extra exercising I did over the 4 day weekend. Can't beat that! Especially when I read that the more muscle you have the more calories you burn up. It's okay. :great: I strive for a 2 pound loss each week and it's only Tuesday! I'll keep up with the good eating, drinking my water and green tea and along with exercise it will come! | Heather, you're right about the muscle weight gain....that may be a pound or 2 of mine. I seemed to "plateau" when I was exercising regularly. But my "fat" jeans are getting really loose, so maybe I AM toning up! Let us know when you get "over the wall"!

| Wow, I haven't checked in for awhile - sounds like you are doing everything right babybluejay! Keep it up! I just can't seem to break out of the 210's. My body just doesn't want to get rid of it. I feel like 199 is within reach - one of these days it will be mine!

| Well, I'm just creeping along and at 215.0. I just hope that I can get to 214 or better (wishful thinking) on saturday weigh in. 16 pounds until 199 isn't so bad considering just how far I've come! I'm buckling down and watching my calorie intake and doing variety into what I'm eating so that my body doesn't get used to the same ol' same ol'. It will come off! I did 50 minutes on the elliptical machine, went for a walk around walmart superstore for 45 minutes and have a 6 and 1 year old at home to clean after. Lots of exercise here! Today I will get in 96oz of water. Working hard! |
