Default "Eating On Plan for a WHOLE week" Challenge

Hey LCE buddies!

Here is a challenge for all of you out there (like me) who like short-term goals.

It seems that people tend to stick to stuff when they have small, short-term goals. " One day or week at a time" goals... If we all pitch in and try our best to have the short-term goal of having "ONE WEEK OF CLEAN EATING" at a time we may accomplish more and help our long-term goals, of having a lifetime of healthy eating...

So let's hear from you people who want to have little goals that will eventually add up to one BIG one.

Report in daily as to how you are doing....and weekly if you succeeded...and if you didn't (it happens) there is a brand new week RIGHT THERE in front of you to try again.

^5's all around! Let's get started shall we???

Here we goooo!!

-Krystyne

Hmm Krystyne This challenge sounds like just what I need. Ok I'm in. I will start with yesterday since I had a clean eating day.

Krystyne - I can see why you would need to start monday.

Jas - I was 19 pounds from goal at one point but am see sawing up and down 5 pounds since the end of january. That's why I need this challenge.

Carolyn - Yes the weekends are the hardest part.

I did my second day of clean eating. according to fitday I have expended 3100 more calories than I've ingested. But then if I had a normal fat burning ability I probably wouldn't have reached 310.

Made it thru yesterday, a little high on my carbs, but ok on my calories....
and I did my water aerobics yesterday
swam today, and am planning on eating light today, to compensate for yesterdays high count... and maybe getting in some more exercise today...
camping this weekend, leaving this afternoon, and should be able to take a
nice walk when we get the camper set up.
will be sans computer this weekend, taking the DaVinci Code to read with me
dominoes, dice, skipbo, and pigs for some game time.
dh will probably abandon me for fishing most of the weekend, but that is what
he likes to do, so....
Rob have a good weekend... stay on track, watch out for your sundays at your sisters....

yah Rob.... You can understand. Good thing that the resorts have a workout room...hehe. I'll be spending an hour in there each day most likely.

I start Monday....DEFINATELY

I am excited. The weeks go by so fast, and it is a combo of those 4 good weeks on plan that add up to a whole month.

Baby steps...

Hello everyone - I was ok yesterday but tonight might be a different story. DH is taking me out for a dinner & a movie (with a few cocktails thrown in). Hockygirl I am with you in earnest on Monday. I saw your post on the other thread about getting into smaller capris - WTG!!!

Rob - I seem to lose the same five pounds over and over too!

Carolyn - hear you on the weekends! This is where I go wrong too. Had to laugh about DH and fishing - we love to fish and camp - but we do it together. Cannot wait until the long weekend in May when our fishing season opens. My sis lives in Texas!!

Have an awesome weekend everyone - see you all on Monday!

Carolyn - You're doing good and are bound to burn off any excess calories with walking.

Krystyne - AHH a workout room! Very good!

Jas - a few cocktails is fine as long as you know what the "good" choices are for low carb drinks. And I'm sure you're more than familiar with how to eat in restaurants.

Day 3 was another good day! More calories than the previous 2 days but I went low those days to make up for a bad tuesday. Still fitday said I burned over 1000 calories more than I ate. We shall see tomorrow's weigh-in.

Day 4 under my belt! My big challenge is to survive today's family gathering without overindulging on off plan food. Or not to overeat even on plan stuff.
