Default Labor Day Challenge

Everyone is doing so good here. The not weighing in on this post is kinda nice because then we get to talk about our walk and that is so encouraging. I'm really glad to be here even though I do weigh in. Sorry :( I'm a scale-a-holic for sure!

Hey, group....I'll check in with you all this weekend. DH's favorite Aunt died quite suddenly this morning and the usual chaos is ensuing right now....I was online ordering a funeral spray so thought I'd pop in here and say hey. Later!

Sorry I haven't posted lately - I've had a terrible bug and I'm just getting back to my normal self! I did stay off the scales while I was sick - 6 whole days! I'm down 3 lbs. but I'm sure it's due to being sick and at least a couple of those lbs. will creep back up...now I want to see if I can make it a WHOLE week without getting on the scales - we'll see how my will power holds up!

Maxibee, I'd like to add my condolences for your loss.

Heather, I try and stay off the scale but of course I got on this week. I move it out of the condo to the furnace room again so we'll see how long that lasts. But everyone is different so if the scale is necessary to you then that's cool too.

I'm on day 12 of perfectly clean eating and I have so much energy I can't believe it. I forgot how good being good feels.

I finally got a car. It's been almost a onth since mine was wrecked. I now have to find another form of exercise since the morning walks will be no more. I was going to keep walking part way but the afternoons would kill me in this heat. When did they move Denver to Arizona?!?!?!

Maxibee--Hope everything is going OK with the loss of DH Aunt--thoughts and prayers with your family and his.

I am staying off the scale as I'm supposed to. Clothes feeling just a bit looser, so I'm happy. Trying to up my exercise; once again i'm having trouble finding the time for it, and it HAS to be indoors as the heat index is over 100 degrees F this week. :P

Hope everyone is doing well!

Cushie you are doing so good! That is so wonderful that you've lost 74 pounds! I'm right behind you trying to catch up . You are doing great with your eating and staying off the scale. Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to and then we're going out to dinner. I detest eating away from my home anymore. It is so hard not to control how things are prepared. I'll just stick to a chicken salad and sneak in my own salad dressing - tee hee. Good thing it is my brother in law getting married or I just wouldn't go because I'm a spoiled health nut brat! Yea! I used to not care it is so good to care about my body now!

I was good today. I didn't want to be, I wanted to go to the Cafe and get chicken tenders and I wanted fries, so bad I could almost taste them. I was even counting out the money to see if I could do so, but then caught hold of myself and thought No. I am not screwing up my woe and the longest stretch of ketosis I've had. So I ran into the kitchen and fried some cheese. Wasn't great but it was protein. I came so close though.

As I left work it came a torrential downpour. There were 4 inches of water on the sidewalks. Lots of thunder and lightning too and it wasn't letting up. So I took off my shoes and ran back to the dorm. I wouldn't be able to do that if I ate chicken tenders and fries, so there's yet another reason to eat lc. You got the energy to run across campus in a downpour, you're not any less wet, but closer to dryness. :P

I tell ya - this dang thread gets away with pages while I sleep! DH keeps asking me why I'm late for breakfast every morning! I'm reading the Challenge thread!!!

Everyone is doing soooooo great! And yep - everyone is different - the weighins are completely individual choices and assessments. For some it will be obsessive for others normal - only we will know and only we are entitled to make that assessment.

Noel - I'm just over the moon for you and your positivity! Its so great to hear - and look at the lbs dropping off. But for my money your big ticket item here is your new energy and sense of wellbeing - priceless!

Good to hear Jooneezgrl doing great too. And BBJ1 just about always posts positive. Sorry to hear you haven't been too good Georgia Girl - but better times ahead and at least you didn't gain!

MizKitty and Junie are sounding good too - and Junie has picked up energy again!

Maxibee is sounds on track even given the recent sadness.

LeahRuthie and Biddy22 were fine last time they posted I think?

Haven't heard from crystalrp for a while - so hope she is OK.

Have I missed anyone? Where is DecemberAngel?

WELL DONE EVERYONE! (o yeah - and I'm on top of the world!) So - we're all flyin' along!
