| Well, another day of mainly tea over water to flush out the system. Had a pretty off day yesterday but plan on pulling it together today since it is one week until Thanksgiving. Need to lose some weight since I'll probably gain a few that day. I'll be watching my calories that day to try to maintain though. |

| question...can you drink tea instead of water? as in...I drink 96 oz of water each day. could I drink 80 + 16 of tea??? I've been drinking both! Probably drowning myself!! also, haven't had the green tea in a couple days...having some right now. after I visit the facilities to make room for it!

| My diet center told me this was a big no no that you could be flushing your system out of potassium and electrolytes. Be sure to include it in your water and only drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces sweetie. |

| ok. I drink 96 oz of water and about 2-3c tea each day. most days. I'm not crazy about the water, so no worries. I don't see me getting too much in. Thanks for the info, though. Good to know!

| I drink between 6-8 x 8oz water daily - plus 1 small pot (10oz) each of green tea and rooibos daily. BUT I also eat other foods rich in potassium - so its all very negotiative! |

| Hey, ladies! I'm just sitting here enjoying a big glass of Earl Grey Green.....I'm making it 1/3 decaf now, trying to wean myself off caffeine. I only drink it in the morning, but if I don't, I get a headache. Now that's it's actually kind of cold here, I may start taking a hot cup to work every day. Have a nice weekend!

| Hey Beach, what potassium rich foods do you eat? I've gotten a couple of KILLER leg cramps in the night, and I think upping that would help. I have supplements (which I ALWAYS forget to take!!) so I'm hoping to end the crampage!

| I'd be interested in this also, Beachie. My potassium levels were low when I went to the doctor last week. They told me leafy greens, ORANGES and BANANAS... Now I already eat a lot of leafy greens, but I can't add oranges and bananas or I'll blow my WOE. I did switch over to the Morton's lite salt, because it has potassium. Hopefully this will help!

| I just love brussel sprouts and they are loaded with potassium. You either like them or you don't though I'm drinking tons of tea flushing out my system. Got a good tip to have sf jello and am putting it into play tonight when I get those bad cravings. I almost gave in already but stayed strong. *grin* Knowing that I have the jello in the fridge I probably won't cheat one bite tonight - lol. |

| I just recently bought some of the little Jello s/f cups.....I can carry them to work or have one for dessert at home without going to the trouble of making jello. They are sweetened with Equal (aspartame), which I try to avoid as much as possible, but I don't think there's enough in there to worry about. On the tea subject: I drank the last of my green I had in the fridge so I could use the pitcher to make tea for the family since we had Thanksgiving over here. And I had some regular tea today....I made one pitcher sugar sweetened, one plain and offered Splenda, and my cousin brought one with Splenda in it already. So, we were covered. Drink up!

| I know one thing: I'm going back to green as soon as I finish drinking the leftover black tea from Thanksgiving. It tastes funny to me now. Not bad....I'm just not used to it anymore. Bottoms up!
