| I was visiting the potty (had a bit of a stomach flu) awhile ago and had to stop drinking my green tea. It was hard to not drink it even though I knew it would be the best for me for a day or so. I drink it to help me with my water too and it was hard to have mostly plain water all day. Today I bought a box of celestial seasonings variety box to try some new things. |

| I'm so glad that the Jello tip is working for you, Heather. I wouldn't be caught without some in my fridge now. I'm still here, still drinking green tead, will be drinking even more of it now that the big boys broke my coffee pot. Can't get a new coffee pot until next week sometime, probably after the first! I don't get how some people say they have to choke this stuff down. Okay... I didn't get it until my DH made me a cup while I was sick. I swear it almost killed me. I think he brewed it for about 45 minutes, and it was BLACK. Nasty, nasty, nasty. I gagged it down, thanked him for thinking of me, and made myself another cup so that I could get that taste out of my mouth!

| How have I lived this long without Jello Felonee? lol Last night I shared it with my boys and the 6 year old and I stopped eating it when 1 year old sneezed all over it. Luckily I ate enough (we all had spoons) before this happened. Then he took a bite after we were still saying gross and spit what he had back in the bowl. Kids |

| Hey, Katie and Heather.....scope out the thread I started in the Cooking forum about pie crust. We started discussing jello and Maggie posted a link for me about sugar free jello you can make yourself, so you can use Splenda and not Equal. I think I'm gonna try it. Heather, I have to be careful, too. I've done the same thing to MY metabolism. :(

| Hi, all. I'm new to this forum, but not to low-carbing. Have any of you tried white tea? I'm having a cup right now. It is very mild, and reports say it has more antioxidants than green tea, (which I really don't like at all). I bought mine from Puritan's Pride. I also found Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea, which is quite good. White tea mixes well with other teas, and takes flavored syrups well, too. I make my sf Jello in pint jars. A small box uses a cup of hot water and a cup of cold, so I fill the jar half way with hot water, dissolve the Jello, add the cold, put on a lid and stick it in the fridge. Stores much easier than in bowls; if it gets tipped it doesn't spill all over the fridge. The lid also keeps out funky odors from the fridge; don't want your Jello tasting like broccoli...well, that might be good, too! |

| Welcome, QueenMama. I've scoped out the vast varieties of teas at my supermarket and I've seen the white tea, but never tried it. Perfectly Pear sounds delish, as pears are one of my favorite fruits. I've made my own s/f jello from the mix and poured it into individual small plastic containers to set so I could take them to work. I like it better than the ready-made from the store. I'm going to try to make my own with the Knox and Kool-Aid and Splenda. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.

| I got an e-mail for a chai latte. Just do 1 cup skim milk and 1 cup chai tea. I miss my latte's so I'm excited to see how I like this to get my dairy in everyday. I've never had chai tea before. Does it taste like red, black or green tea's? |

| The 2 brands of chai tea that I tried were both good. Celestial Seasonings has one, I think it's called Mountain Chai, but it's hard to find in our area. Lipton has a Spiced Chai that is pretty good. Two other good teas, not chai or green, are Celestial Seasonings Ginger Spice and Chocolate Caramel Enchantment, which contains neither chocolate or caramel, but makes a very nice comforting cup of hot tea on a cold night. I am making an effort to drink at least 2 cups of white tea each day without sweetener or cream (shudder). It's ok, and probably good for me, but I prefer my hot tea sweet and white, my iced tea usually plain. I Googled "benefits of white tea" and found a site by a fellow who is diabetic, and he has lots of interesting things to say about white tea, as well as some good stuff about diabetes, although he has a very small area devoted to low-carbing.

| Well, it's official, I'm hooked on the Bigelow Earl Grey. I can drink a whole 24 oz before I get to work in the am.
