Heather, are you drinking the Earl Grey Green or the regular Earl Grey? I love them both. I took a box of Earl Grey to work today and made myself a big mug to warm me up....I'm not in the office all the time, I have to run out to the warehouse and back, so I was getting cold. (FYI: if it gets below 70, we Texans think we're freezing! LOL!)

If you really, really like a strong Earl Grey tea, try Gevalia's brand. It was actually too strong for me, but my son likes it so I gave it to him. (I like their coffees much better than their teas.) I prefer Twinings or Bigelow Earl Grey. They are just right. Twinings has a really good decaf Earl Grey. Recently I saw a recipe for Earl Grey cake, but I don't remember where I found it! If I find it, maybe I can adapt the recipe for low carb with almond flour. I'll let y'all know if I do!

I drink the Earl Grey Green. because I thought the green was what had the good antioxidents and flushers in it. is that wrong? and then if I drink it at night I have some decaf, but it isn't bigelow, don't remember what it is.

All tea is good, but green and white teas are especially high in antioxidants, much higher than black tea. Green teas are processed less than black, and white teas even less. So there is more good "stuff" left in the tea. I personally prefer white tea. It doesn't have that "raw" taste that green tea has. It also mixes well with other teas or flavors. A report from the Linus Pauling Institute says that white tea is much higher in antioxidants than green tea. And a study by Pace University says that white tea might have more antiviral properties than green tea. But, whether you prefer green or white, or even just regular black tea, you should include it in your diet, because they all provide antioxidants. Besides, there's nothing more refreshing than a cold glass of iced tea, or more soothing than a hot cuppa when you are in need of comfort.
