Hi, Maxibee. If you want a really good pedicure, send your daughter to a beautician school to learn how. That's what I did. I have one daughter who is a nail tech (not practicing due to health) and one who is a registered massage therapist (not practicing due to new baby).

Tea...yesterday I drank lots of the Candy Cane green tea. Today I am going to focus on the Celestial Seasonings Blueberry Breeze green tea. Years ago Celestial Seasonings had a tea called Pelican Punch, and it was wonderful. They haven't made it in probably close to 30 years. It seems like it had hints of coconut and maybe licorice, and mint. I've tried to duplicate it, but have never been able to come close. Wish they'd revive it. My kids loved it.

Made some Chai tea that was so yummy. My dh enjoyed it and had his with marshmellows but I have mine with a cup of milk. One cup milk, 1 cup hot water and it is kind of like a latte. Yummy!

Today dh took our tea drinking one step further and decided the computer needed some too . So if I don't return for weeks or months it is because good ol' IBM couldn't handle Chai in its Tower. Please pass this on if I don't return in a few days but so far things seem okay! Going to go to church tonight and dh will mess around with computer to make sure it is okay.

Uh, oh! I hope the tea doesn't have the same effect on your computer as Bailey's Irish cream does on a printer.....just ask my sister. The sweetener is the key....was it sugar?

Maybe the computer needed its color changed; tea is great for staining!

I tried some Nutcracker Sweet tea from Celestial Seasonings that my dd gave me because she didn't like it. It is black tea with vanilla and cinnamon. Yummy. Why do they come up with these flavors only at holiday time? I love spice tea all year round.

I agree spice tea is the best. My favorite is chai spice tea.

Cool Re: "Just Brew It!" The tea club: January '06

Maxibee, Thanks for the name it's great. Thanks too for the point that dairy negates the positive effects of tea. Until now I have only drank tea [even herbal with cream or milk] I have never used sugar so I am not sure that I would enjoy my tea sweet I drink very little tea. I would appreciate people helping me get on to tea without dairy. My favorite is Chai with cream. I am going to check out the green tea challenge. Thanks

I picked up the February issue of Woman's Day (didn't realize that it cost $2.24!!! Ouch!) Anyway, it had a good article about tea and all the positive things it does for our bodies. No new news, however.

As as for dairy negating the effects of tea, well, I'm still going to put cream in mine. It's a comfort thing, ya know?

Don't go angel . This is our new green, red, white, black, chai, herbal tea thread . Good way to get in water and antioxidants throughout the day. We all drink such a variety Maxibee came up with this great name to combine them.

I love my green tea lotion from Denise Austin that I bought. It is sappose to promote elasticity in the skin and I sure hope it helps because my skin doesn't look the same as when I first weighed 156 pounds . Feels tingly like it is working.

I bought some celestial ceasonings white tea decaf pearl that is good. I like that it is a lighter color that any other tea so hopefully it will not stain my teeth as fast . It was over $3 a 20 bag box which is more then I'm used to paying for my green tea's so I'll just have one a day and then my other tea's the rest and wait for a sale.

Yesterday after work I had just made a cup of tea when the UPS man brought my package with my Pappy's green tea and sassafras tea extracts. So, I had to drink the cup I had just brewed before I could try the other. The sassafras is very good, just like I remember from my childhood. Aren't warm, cozy memories wonderful? Today I will try the green tea concentrate, and let you know if it's any good.
