I tried the Pappy's Green Tea Concentrate, and it is quite good. It turned out to be a very pleasant cup of tea, much to my surprise. I have had green tea in the past that I just did not like. In fact, it was so good, I might just have another cup. Maybe iced. It's 80+ today.

I bought a coffee table today and can't wait to have company. I'll heat up some water in my japanese style tea pot and bring out all my different tea's for people to try. For those who don't like tea they can always have hot cocoa that I have stored too. I may have a tea party all by myself before then .

Heather, a tea party sounds nice. I have a nice cobalt blue pot I got from my daughter. Sometimes I'll brew a nice pot, and sip on hot tea until it's gone. If you keep a towel folded up over the pot, the tea will stay hot longer. Or make a tea cozy for that purpose. I prefer to drink mine out of a mug, not a dainty cup, but if I had a tea party, I would find some nice cups for my guests. Now, what kind of goodies do you serve at your tea party? Some nice lc sugar cookies? Or lc pound cake with berries and whipped cream?

Today I am feeling under the weather, and I think after I drink all my coffee, I will concentrate on drinking some green and white tea, to try to detox, and get rid of whatever is making me feel crummy.

Okay, I REALLY need to get back on the Green Tea Bandwagon!!!! So after I post here I am going to make me a big pot of green and drink on that all day.

I especially LOVE to make green with a shot of lime Torani S/F syrup and a shot of Vanilla and add that all to a bottle of lemonade Crystal Lite. I LOVE it!!!! So that will be my task for today.

Whip cream with berries on top sounds great for a tea party Queen. Especially with my spice chai tea. Tonight while I watch celebrity fit club I'll make a pot for dh and me while he is on lunch break. I didn't know that about the towel. If it is just me at my tea party then I don't want my water to get cold to fast so thanks for the info.

I saw Moby, techno artist dh said, tea kitchen. He has it made! His "Tea Kitchen" is a big as my regular kitchen. He had all these great containers that he kept everything in. Does anyone know how long loose leaf tea lasts? Is it forever? I was wondering how he could drink all that he had but when you are rich I bet you don't care so much about waste.

Hi, tea lovers.

Just wanted to pop in and report that I'm still on the "tea wagon."

I drink both black and green, depending on my mood, and still like my green tea plain. (Yeah, I know, "boiled grass" blah, blah, blah. 'Can't help it. I really like it that way. )

I drink my green tea plain too. It's the only way to go with me. I also like my coffee black when I drink it.

Babybluejay, I saw an episode of Good Eats about tea, and I believe he said that, if stored correctly, loose tea would last a year. If they rerun the episode, I will pay more attention.

Okay, so after posting earlier, I went and brewed 4 bags of tea in 4 cups of water. I made my lime/lemonade Crystal lite concoction and bottled it up, so no excuses. It's made and ready to drink. (instead of diet pop)

Heather, I had a bottle of "Sweet Tea" (Unsweetened w/Lemon and Lime) today. I was at Whole Foods with friends. This tea is made in Austin, have you heard of it? I whipped out my Splenda packets and fixed it up some. Very good!

I really hit the tea hard yesterday, and today I feel so much better. I focused primarily on green, but had some white and one cup of sassafras. I think tea is better than chicken soup for what ails ya.

The towel worked Queen Nita! I had my own little cross stitching tea party this morning with my brand new coffee table. So nice to have the pot in front of me so I can enjoy relaxing. I drank chai tea, green tea and white tea.

Great, babybluejay. If you are into sewing, you can make a little quilted tea cozy for your pot. I had one that was just 2 quilted place mats sewn together. It worked really good.

I had my Perfectly Pear White Tea last night. Yummers.

I'm still suckin on my bottles of lemon/lime crystal lite/green tea I made up yesterday. I think that is going to have to be the way to go for me. Make a HUGE batch and bottle it up and stick it in the frig. I'm OUT of diet pop, so Green Tea will be my beverage from now on. I'm still enjoying an occasional cup of hot tea with Rooibos and green mixed together.

BTW, now, whenever we go out to a chinese restaurant, I only drink green. I have a baggie filled with splenda in my purse, cuz' the restaurant we go to doesn't provide splenda packets. (When will they get a clue????)
