Still drinking my tea - the other day I did grab a cold tea at Target. I think it was SoBe ? didn't care for it much - too minty or something.

We have a joke around here about carrying Splenda in a baggie. Be sure not to get stopped by a cop, cause he'll be suspicious about your little bag of white powder!

I had may last Chocolate Caramel Enchantment tea bag last night. It was so good. No chocolate or caramel in it, but it tastes wonderful. It's a spicy tea. If I find more, you can bet I'll get it. Actually, I can probably buy it directly from Celestial Seasonings. Might just look later.

Welcome Munchkin!!! By posting here, you are now a member of the Tea Totaller's group!!!!! It's THAT simple. Just let us know how your tea drinking is going.

I'm OUT OF CRYSTAL LITE!!!!! I gotta get me over to Target to get some more. I can't find the bottled (splenda version) anywhere but there. My Costco used to carry the 24 packs, but I haven't found it there lately. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I refuse to do the powdered, it's sweetened with aspertame.

Max, LOL. It's a good thing the little packets of powder are branded with the Splenda logo, eh? I'm seeing more and more splenda in restaurants too, but gosh darn it, this particular Chinese one doesn't have them. I think the next time I go there, I will suggest it. They can buy it wholesale at Sam's for heaven's sake.

Hi, fellow tea drinkers. Last night I mixed up a quart of green tea, and a pitcher of Atkins apple drink, and had a glass of half each. It was so good! I really like the apple drink, and the fruit punch, but the orange tastes funny.

Today I have had an Earl Grey, and a Constant Comment. I found a site at www.stashtea.com. They have all kinds of tea, including Chai white and Earl White, which is basically Earl Grey made with white tea. I read that white tea has 15 times the antioxidants of green tea. I might just have to seriously buy some tea from this site.

And welcome to our group, Munchkin.

I wish that white tea wasn't so much more then green tea at the stores I buy it from. As soon as the stores that I buy my tea from have a sale I'll stock up. I have so much green tea in the house to use up so I treat myself to one cup of white tea a the day.

White tea has the BEST nutrients in it because it comes from the FIRST harvest of the year from the buds of the Camelia Chinensis plant. (I think that's its botanical name if I remember correctly.) The buds contain the most highly concentrated nutrients because the plants hasn't had a chance to use them up yet. And I think they ferment it differently than green and black. I think the buds are just dried, not fermented.

I found a new flavor variety of Talking Rain Botanical "juice" at Sam's today. It's sweetened with splenda. There are 3 flavors: Purely Passion (has a bit of a grapefruity flavor), Quintessential Kiwi, and Luscious Loganberry. This will lend itself nicely to my green tea concoctions too!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

I may have to grab a box of "Perfectly Pear" next time I am at Kroger.

Barb, I make sure I leave my empty Splenda packets in plain sight when I leave the table at a restaurant where they don't have it! Just a broad little hint.

AND, when I'm having iced tea somewhere and they DO have Splenda, I use theirs. I figure it's part of the price of the drink. I would never take extra for my purse, just what I'm using there.

Same here Max. I leave the used packets out in plain sight. BUT if they have busboys who clean the tables, they could care less what garbage we leave on the table.

I too will use theirs first before I will use my own. And I wouldn't even THINK of taking ALL the packets from their little sweetener cups. That stuff just doesn't enter my mind.

My daughter wiped me out of my stash I carry in my purse. Time to re-load.

This Talking Rain stuff is quite tastey. So, I guess I will be buying THAT from now on instead of Crystal Light. (I did fill out a form at Sam's requesting various s/f products I wish they would carry.)

I haven't tried mixing any green tea with any of them yet, but I'm sure it will be fine. I'll let y'all know later how it turns out.

Perfectly Pear isn't sweet, but it has a nice aroma of pears as you drink it. I sweeten my hot tea, anyway, so mine is always sweet.

Puritan's Pride has white tea, 35 bags per box, for $9.65, but they are running a sale on their site, buy 2, get 3 free. So you are getting your tea for about $3.86 per box, which is comparable to Celestial Seasonings prices. www.puritan.com
That's where I buy most of my supplements, when they run a buy 2 get 3 free sale.

I'm so glad Nita! I'm not a big fan of sweetened tea or coffee. I saw it at the store and thought about getting it but was afraid it might waste my money. I'm a frugal lady.

Its a bummer eh - to buy a whole bag of tea and then not like it! That's happened so often to me that nowdays I stick to my tried and trues. Got a large jug of iced green in the fridge for when I come home from Curves this morning!
