today I put on makeup just for a trip to the vet.
otherwise, jeans and a polo shirt.

I've got to tell you about a top I bought a few months back. My granddaughter, Jade, was with me, and we say a light pink knit top with pink feathers around the neckline, in my size. I asked Jade if I should buy it, and she said "Yes". Then I asked her if I should wear it to work, and she said "YES!" She's a girlie girl, loves pink, and thinks her Grandma should wear it, too. So, I do. It's fun going clothes shopping with a 5-year old. They think you look good in anything.

I'm so glad that I got all dressed up today because I feel so good! I'm wearing this blue top and matching blue earrings. Okay they are

spider earrings with blue bodies but they are better then they sound. My boys love them! I pulled some hair back in a blue hair band and am actually having a good hair day. I curled my bangs even and of course the works on the makeup. I've started buying pretty lacy undies and padded bras (today they have hearts

on them which dh loves

) and even though though I only know they are there I feel pretty.

I'm sooooo tired today and I even took a nap. I didn't fix my hair, makeup or nothing today. I'm lucky that I even got dressed into day clothes after the gym instead of staying in my sweats. Just a blah day but tomorrow I'll get back with the program.

I'm feeling the same way, Heather... only Austin wouldn't let me sleep when I tried to take a nap. I am wearing a cute sweatshirt that I bought on clearance last year (this is the last year I can wear it since it's already BIG), and some jeans. I think I'd feel cuter if I had clothes that actually FIT!

I'm hoping DH makes a decent paycheck this month so that I can go get 2 pairs of new pants in February. Come on people of Paris, Texas... BUY A FORD!!! All of my pants are just big enough that they look sloppy, but not so big that they are falling off... if they were to that point, I could justify new ones

I did do my hair today, but no make-up. My eyes have been kind of itchy the past couple of days, so I'm giving them a day off. BUT, I did use moisturizer today anyway... huge deal for me since I always forget to do it.

Selling at the flea market tomorrow, so no make-up in the morning (the wind blows the whole time we're there), but I'll put it on when we get home... since I'll have to take a shower and put clean clothes on then too. Maybe I'll try my reference jeans again soon.

had to postpone my appt to sign up at Curves (something went too long at work, and it was critical I stay) - so, since I had to wait anyhow - I ordered 3 new workout clothes. I gave away the ones I had the first time cause they were too big.

so I ordered a smaller size (ok, still a L) - I don't like the velour and fleece - these are pants/jackets in the cotton jersey. Colorfull too.

I will be 'smokin' when I'm workin

Hi, girls. Did you notice that no men have joined our group? I'd like to hear from the male perspective on looking good, and what they go through.

I actually wore some makeup today. The Aromaleigh powder, and a little blush. I seldom wear mascara because it makes my eyes itch. And I don't usually wear lipstick to work, because I don't want to mess with keeping up with it.

Tomorrow will be housecleaning day, so out come the grubbies, but if we go shopping, I'll put on something nice.

We should all post pictures of ourselves in our grubbies, and then all fixed up!

I got that Maybelline Lipfinity lipstick... stuff wears like iron... in fact I can put some on in the morning and still show traces of it the next morning

I don't use the gloss stick that comes with it though... I hate that lipsticky feel, I just like my lips to be a COLOR.

okay.. i have had about a week of not getting dressed hardly even..*L*.. (unless you count jeans and a short robe as CHIC somehow..*L*)

today i had those satan looking lounge pants on (black) until sebastian leaned over with a glass of water and doused me with it..

no kiddos around tomorrow... and i am actually planning on leaving town.. so i MIGHT actually WEAR something half way decent tomorrow..

I've done my hair and now i just need to do my make-up and get some earrings on. I have jeans on, my favorite blue shirt and cute blue sandles.
