So, where is everybody?

Today I am wearing dark green knit pants, a dark pink mock turtleneck top, and my hot pink flats. I love those shoes, but they are getting loose on me. I should really get out my hot pink purse, too, but it's too much work to change out. At least my wallet is hot pink. No, I'm not a pink person, it's just a mood I got in the last few months.
It's a happy color, and I look good in it. It's not just for the Barbie set anymore. It's also a good color for grandmas.

I was slow getting to the puter this morning. I worked out as soon as I got up, then showered and dressed.

Denim shorts, and a flowered t-shirt (not one of DH's huge ones). I'm still waiting for my hair to dry so that I can style it and put on make-up.

Went out for dinner last night and wore my Christmas gift from DS. My neighbour has a pearl jewellery business (apologies for repeating if anyone read my journal today) http://www.akeshi.com and DS gave me the Rose Quartz Lariat - DH gave me the Opera bracelet and a voucher for earrings. I'm going across later today to choose my earrings - I think I'll ask her to make me up something to match my bracelet - its rose quartz, flat silver and pink pearls - so I imagine she did a custom design to match the lariat -as the Opera bracelets have slightly different colours in them usually. Hopefully she can match up with the earrings as well. She's very talented. Right - well - I'd better get to my exercise -otherwise nothing will fit!

Okay, I'm back. Been feeling a bit fatigued lately so been taking off some time relaxing. Today I wore a black velvet skirt with purple lace bottom and a purple velvet top. So cute and love it! I'll be wearing it to church tonight and will probably end up putting up my hair.

Morning, ladies (and any gents who might visit).

I am wearing slacks and a sort of chartreuse green knit top. I have a gold and green scarf that I am going to wear with it. I've packed some black pin stripe knit pants and a red top with a red animal print scarf to wear tomorrow. I'm going comfy on the shoes, I have a pair of black oxfords with suede on the top. So I can wear socks, and not have to mess with knee highs or pantyhose. Traveling for 4 hours in a car, I'm going to be comfortable.

Put on makeup, again, and even mascara. Taking a little extra time with my hair. I don't have much hair, so what little I have has to be arranged very carefully.

I bought some new shoes at Salvation Army yesterday for 50 cents and I'm hoping that I can get away with wearing them with jeans. They have a bit of a heal, though it is a thick one. Blue casual ones. Fun shopping at those type of stores because I can come away with so much for $15! I went there looking for an outfit for old fashioned sunday at church. I found a cute little house on the prarie type one that I'll wear the 22nd. It was a little two tight in the bust area for my taste so I got a scarf to wrap arround like a shawl and then a wicker type hat. So fun dressing up even if I am 27 years old .

Heather - My DH is starting up a group of Civil War Reenactors, and I had no interest until I found out that I get to play dress-up in those gorgeous clothes!

Today is one of the days that I go all out. Do my hair, make sure I have make-up on, wear clothes that look nice and match. DH, DS and I are going to go to town later on for movie and dinner.

Dressing up is why those over 55 love belonging to the "Red Hats" we play dress up whenever we go out.

I'll definately belong to the red hat society when I'm 55! I met a lady some months ago at the beauty salon and she was getting her nails done just to meet up with her red hat ladies. She was beautiful and the nail lady said that she was over 65! I couldn't believe it. I told her I liked her nails and she said something so cute: eat your heart out ladies! How fun still playing dress up with your girlfriends.

I used up the rest of my Christmas Giftcard on a nightie and some sexy underwear to match and more earrings to go with more of my clothes. I was going to save the giftcard for when I get to my goal weight but I've been having so much fun at goodwill that I won't care for expensive clothes at the mall. People donate the best clothes and its so much fun! Today I wore those thick heal blue loafers (50 cents) and they looked so cute with my jeans! Dh complimented me even. I like that the taller your shoe heal the thinner your legs look .

I am ready to get into my pjs and get out of my clothes. I wore a red knit shirt with black pinstripe pants that are actually too big, but look ok, and a red animal print scarf, and black oxfords. Make up, too. I felt good, and was quite comfortable, and I didn't spill anything on me even once today, which for me is pretty good!
