I've been in shorts and t-shirts that last few days cleaning house. The snow has kept me from leaving the house but things are looking up and I'll get dressed so I can go for a walk in the next day it looks like. I feel so much better when I do my hair or otherwise I just feel so frumpy.

Well, I have been doing better since I joined this challenge. I do get more done, because I HATE doing house work in pj's or night gown. Talk about feeling frumpy!!

I had to go back to work today, so I am in black knit pants, a short-sleeved rib knit square neck top, and a black sweater with white trim. Black oxfords with black socks, for the comfort and warmth. I actually forgot to put on any jewelry today. I hadn't worn any for 4 days! Except my wedding ring, which is now on my thumb because it is too big for my ring finger.

It's so nice to be out of pjs and sweats for the day! The cold's still here, but so much better!

I was just writing in my journal that even though I've lost 121 pounds I just don't feel any different or pretty. I've decided to change things a bit and made an appointment for tonight to get my hair dyed red. Tomorrow I made an appointment at the nail salon to get a french manicure. I'm a little nervous for this change but am trying to find me. I like to feel good about my appearance, who doesn't, so we'll see. A deep dark red, hopefully it doesn't look purple looking like I've seen on others but like my two little boys hairs.

My french manicure turned out so nice too. It was $67 to dye my hair plus tip so next time I might just do it on my own with the help of my husband so i don't miss any hair. Cushie said that she died her hair the same color and it's called, "red hot mama"! go us! I'm feeling so pretty and have been on plan since I did this. Needed this pick me up.

My red hair is starting to look more natural. The initial bright coloring is fading a bit so I feel less self conscience about it. In fact I love it!! I got a compliment from someone I didn't even know yesterday that they thought my hair was so pretty. Wore my puppy dog shirt yesterday. I love it because I found it in my 7 year old's closet and thought it looked like it "could" fit and did!! In a couple of years I bet I'd be able to wear all of his clothes. He thinks it's cute now but later won't like sharing clothes with his mother - lol.

Today I'm wearing a favorite black t-shirt that is starting to get to big and look to long. I can't believe it has to be brought over to my gym shirts only collection. I'm also wearing my hair up in a clip, since it is so beautiful outside to keep my hair off my neck and my newest jeans. They are size 6 and stretchy kind and I think they are stretching out because I haven't lost any inches or pounds I don't think since I got them. I have 4 more jeans in my closet to shrink into this spring/summer. Almost done, only 15 - 25 more pounds to go - woo hoo!

Today I wore a pink long sleeve shirt that was a bit tight on me the last time I wore it but fits perfectly now. Loving it!!! I wore black pants, a black butterfly hair to pull back my hair, pink earrings and black sandles. Plus I wore my make-up and even a pink bracelet and black asian necklace. Felt pretty fancy today but got a lot done since I felt full of energy and good about myself.

Today I'm in a red top, a big red ring, and my new watch with the red band. And I'm going to wear my new Crocs shoes, which are red. They are quite funky looking, but terribly comfortable, and perfect for my foot problems. Found a post by Susie (Kumus) about them, looked at the website, and had to try them. They sure have helped. No more foot pain.

Today I'm going to wear my new Harry Potter t-shirt. My dh get's them free from work and now me and my two son's have them. My oldest is wearing his today and since I'm visiting him at school I'll wear mine too. This will be the last year we can probably match since he is 7 years old now. Today he'll get excited about it. I'll wear them with my favorite jeans.

Feeling pretty good tonight because I decided to try on some clothes. Felt like maybe I lost some inches so figured I'd go and see. It has been a week or two since I've tried on my "smaller" clothes but now I'm fitting into 80% of them that I didn't a few weeks ago!!! I'm so excited to wear these jeans that are a size 7/8 button fly. My size 6's (weird how sizes are different with pants) felt like they were getting loose. I have a size 10 that I'm now fitting into now too - lol. I'm so happy and can't wait to get up in the morning and get ready for the day. I'm going to wear a nice black shirt with my 7/8 jeans and black sandles. I'll probably pull my hair back in a butterfly barret and wear black dangly earrings. Fun!!!
